Every year, around 300 traders, artists, and artisans, food stall owners, and showmen take part in this beautiful folk festival in Munich. In Munich, people enjoy the festivals as they come. This small Oktoberfest in the Au will take place again until October 26th, 2025. Everyone will then meet at Mariahilfplatz (the Au district, located east/right of the Isar) and then the party begins. At the fair, people celebrate with specialty stalls, beer gardens, and artisans. Young and old alike find refreshment, fun, and variety. Bumper cars, ring toss, ball toss, a children's carousel, and even puppet shows await visitors at the Kirchweihdult. It smells like Oktoberfest, and you can snack on cotton candy and roasted almonds.
So, before the chilly days in Bavaria arrive, head to the popular Munich Kirchweihdult (Church Fair), because on Tuesday, October 21st, there will also be reduced prices in the fairgrounds.
