Munich. The festival of the state capital Munich. In 2025, the 190th Oktoberfest will take place from September 20 to October 5 on the Theresienwiese. The city's largest construction site is a huge, colorful precursor to the world's largest folk festival in Munich: the famous Munich Oktoberfest. - There used to be no construction site fences, and anyone could cross the Oktoberfest construction site - that was a long time ago! For anyone who wants to know how the Oktoberfest is slowly growing, Munich Tourism is offering 90-minute construction site tours of the Oktoberfest with official guides on weekends this year. This gives some exclusive access to the gates to the massive construction site and a glimpse into the massive beer halls of Munich's major breweries. Due to last year's high demand, significantly more tours are on the program this year.
