IAA MOBILITY 2025 will remain in Munich for the next few years and will celebrate the 2025 Mobility Festival with its international guests in the city center.

Munich. This year's IAA Mobility 2025 will welcome many international exhibitors to Munich. 68 percent of exhibitors are coming to the Bavarian capital from Asia alone. 103 exhibitors are coming from China. Some exhibitors are expanding their presence, and a good quarter of the companies are participating for the first time. IAA Summit: The Meeting Point for Mobility Decision-Makers

The IAA Summit at the Munich Exhibition Center (September 9-12) is the central meeting place for trade visitors. The IAA Conference, which takes place there, brings together over 500 international speakers on five stages. Thematic routes guide visitors to key topics such as software-defined vehicles, autonomous driving, and battery technology. A dedicated area with three startup zones also highlights young companies presenting their innovations.


The global importance of IAA MOBILITY is reflected in its exhibitor list. Leading automobile manufacturers such as Audi, the BMW Group, Ford, Mercedes-Benz, Opel, Porsche, Smart, the Turkish manufacturer Togg, and the Volkswagen Group will showcase their latest developments. Particularly pleasing is the participation of numerous Chinese brands, some of them for the first time, such as , GAC, Leapmotor, and XPeng.


Leading suppliers such as 3M, Bosch, CATL, Continental, Denso, Hyundai Mobis, Kirchhoff Automotive, Kostal, Magna, Mahle, Schaeffler, Valeo, and the ZF Group are represented, as are the tech and digital industries. Google will have its own booth, while Accenture, AWS (Amazon Web Services), Horizon Robotics, Mobileye, PwC, Qualcomm, Samsung, and SAP are shaping the technological transformation of mobility. This diversity underscores the company's commitment to representing the entire value chain.

The IAA Experience: Feel and Experience the Future of Mobility

A central goal of the IAA MOBILITY is to make innovations tangible and tangible, creating points of contact and overcoming reservations. The IAA Experience offers a unique and comprehensive program for this purpose.


Test Drives:

Demand for test drives was so high that capacity was expanded. A total of 229 vehicles from 22 exhibitors are available – an increase of more than 26 percent compared to 2023. In the Open Space, models from brands such as Audi, BYD, Chery, Ford, Hyundai, KIA, Mercedes-Benz, Polestar, Porsche, and VW can be driven for yourself.

Automated Driving:

In the new ADAS & Telematics area, exhibitors such as Aumovio (Continental), Innoviz Technologies, Magna, and Mobileye will demonstrate the latest assistance systems as a passenger experience. One special project is the "Driver's License Test for Automated Vehicles," in which the Technical University of Munich and DEKRA will test participating systems on a defined route. In addition, the Autobahn GmbH is planning an operating area for Level 3 and 4 autonomous driving on the A94, in which Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen are participating.

Cycling & Micromobility:

A 4-km circuit in the English Garden invites you to test ride in a natural environment. Exhibitors such as Bikeleasing, Bosch, Can-Am, Riese & Müller, and Schwalbe will be represented here. There will also be an obstacle course in the open space that simulates real traffic situations.

This includes musical acts such as 4PERZENT, Melli Zech, BLYTE, and Alice Viola. Children's entertainment with the DONIKKL Crew is also planned.


Theme days structure the program at the IAA - Munich celebrates the Mobility Festival 2025 with its guests in the city center


  • Friday, September 12th, is the IAA Career Day. The focus is on female empowerment, with panel discussions, lectures, and workshops. A networking event with a DJ will round off the event.
  • Saturday, September 13th, is the IAA Sports & Young Generation Day. Interactive stage elements, workshops, sports sessions, and concerts are aimed at the younger generation.
  • The IAA Kids Day will take place on Sunday, September 14. The focus will be on knowledge transfer on road safety, games, and fun for children and families.


IAA Open Space: Mobility Festival for the Entire City

From September 9th to 14th, the IAA Open Space will transform large parts of Munich's city center into a mobility festival open to the public

  • Over 220 vehicles from 21 exhibitors will be available for test drives.
  • A cycling test track in the English Garden and a micromobility area will complement the offerings.
  • The Citizens Lab will offer a dialogue space for citizens with over 60 sessions and workshops.
  • Another highlight will be the Munich Festival of Lights, which will celebrate its premiere in Munich in collaboration with IAA MOBILITY.
