The sky above the snow-covered Theresienwiese looked like a painting, and there was snow on the shoulders of the Madonna Bavariae in Marienplatz.

From the tower of the New Town Hall, one could see the snow-covered roofs of the Frauenkirche and surrounding houses

And there was also a little snow over the university district in Schwabing

The Temple of Diana is located on the axis leading to the Bavarian State Chancellery behind it.

In summer, couples dance in the temple, and in winter, the snow dances through the temple!

Visitors can enjoy a romantic view under the large Christmas tree in front of the famous "Ludwig Beck" department store (at the corner of the town hall) towards the Old Town Hall, in whose tower the Munich Toy Museum is located.

And here and there the snow is even enough for snowmen – even if they usually melt away quickly.

The white Theresienwiese attracted winter-wrapped walkers and even cross-country skiers.
