Munich. During Carnival season, Munich celebrates. Popular Carnival balls will delight Munich's Carnival fans in the coming days. With live music and a festive atmosphere, the themed balls at the Deutsches Theater and the Hotel Bayerischer Hof offer a great deal. Year after year, these two venues are the place to be for sophisticated celebrations. We have compiled some events below for which tickets should still be available. Our lists end on Sunday, February 8, when the "Damischen Ritter" (Foolish Knights) parade through Munich's Old Town starting at 1:13 p.m. They begin at Sendlinger Tor and make their way through the crowds to Rindermarkt and Marienplatz. The knights' carnival procession then ends at the Viktualienmarkt! In a second part, we will list the events of the carnival season up to Shrove Tuesday and the dance of the market women at the Viktualienmarkt.
