Here are the 10 busiest shopping streets in Germany (DeutschEnglish, Français, Italiano)

Munich takes the top three spots in popularity ... In the ranking for the highest weekly foot traffic, Kaufingerstrasse, with its extension Neuhauser Strasse, has secured the top three spots for Germany's most popular shopping streets. In the luxury segment, Maximilianstrasse holds the absolute top spot in popularity – those strolling here will find everything they need and can relax (see photos below). The ranking is based on current weekly foot traffic figures from the end of 2025 to the beginning of 2026.

With a weekly pedestrian traffic of 441,073, this street, framed by partly historic buildings, has the highest pedestrian traffic – which also explains the highest rents in Germany in the pedestrian zone between Marienplatz and Karlstor at Stachus.
