The 41st FILMFEST MUNICH will take place from June 28th to July 7th, 2024 - the festival center is the Amerikahaus in the Kunstareal

 

The 41st Munich Film Festival is taking over the cultural city of Munich with its events today

MUNICH. June 28th to July 7th, 2024 - For its 41st edition this summer, FILMFEST MUNICH has expanded its cultural network of long-standing collaborations to include new partnerships with theaters, clubs and subculture centers. This year the CineCoPro Conference will focus on Canada as the guest country. FILMFEST MUNICH shows a total of ten Canadian feature and documentary films.

A highlight of the 41st Munich Film Festival will be the awards ceremony on Saturday, July 6, 2024


 The FILMFEST MUNICH CineCoPro Conference 2024 is supported by FFF Bayern, Telefilm Canada, the Canadian Embassy in Berlin and Creative Europe Desk Munich.
The CineCoPro Award, worth 100,000 euros, is the highest prize for German co-producers of international co-productions. The prize money of 100,000 euros will be provided by FFF Bayern and distributed to the German co-producers of the winning film for the next co-production. The winning film is selected by a three-person, independent jury of experts.

  •     ARRI has been involved in FILMFEST MUNICH for 41 years and is an important technology partner and prize funder of the festival.
  •     CAMPARI Germany is the official partner of the 41st FILMFEST MUNICH. The company is actively involved internationally in the world of film. At the 2024 film festival, filmmakers and guests meet at his bar.
  •     The Hotel Bayerischer Hof has been providing hotel rooms and interview rooms for many years.
  •     The FÜNF HÖFEdirectly at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof have been there for five years with the large facade poster, a selfie point film festival and the social media presence.
  •     Hofbräu München has been a partner at FILMFEST MUNICH since 2021 and the main partner of the Beergarden Convention, an industry meeting at FILMFEST MUNICH. The world-famous Munich brewery passes on the original Munich attitude to life to guests of the film world with locations and Hofbräu beer.
  •      The cultural department of the state capital of Munich supports the FILMFEST MUNICH at the big opening in the Gasteig HP8.
  •     As a partner at the FILMFEST MUNICH at Marienplatz, “Ludwig Beck – Kaufhaus der Sinne” has decorated its shop windows on the first floor appropriately. The FilmTalk for the world premiere of "Call me Levi" will certainly be well attended on July 2nd at 11:00 a.m. in the Monaco Café on the 4th floor at Ludwig Beck as a matinee with coffee, pretzels and croissants.
