Munich. The UEFA EURO 2024 has made the city the host city of Munich. Everyone is cheering in the fan zone in the Olympic Park in front of the big screens during the public viewing. In Munich's squares there is a free supporting program such as the Münchner Kindl at Marienplatz or the six meeting benches in the Olympic Park. Here you can talk to guests from the football world or society under the motto #hockdiher. In Munich - as in the other host cities - fans from all over Europe are celebrating this summer's great football festival. There are free performances or concerts and Bavarian delicacies and a good mood everywhere. This weekend there is also the famous Christopher Street Day in downtown Munich and the colorful Tollwood summer festival in the Olympic Park. Where everything sings on June 22nd from 10 p.m. under the direction of music director Jens Junker with the Go Sing Choir and the Hippie Chamber Orchestra. The well-known songs “Give Peace a Chance” by John Lennon and “Let the Sunshine In”, which is in everyone's ears from the musical Hair, will ring out in the park. In the night sky, illuminated drones will write symbols in the night sky. So: have your iPhones and smartphones ready. If you like, you can chill out with live music on the cultural beach on the Isar in Munich
The cultural program on the Cornelius Bridge on the cultural beach on the Isar lasts from May to September in 2024. This mid-summer meeting place on the cooling Isar attracts Munich residents and visitors to Munich every day from 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. with live or electronic music, a beautiful and varied children's program and participatory sports.

And then there is the folk rock'n'roller from Austria who will rock the Lederhosen and Dirndl stage on June 22nd. Under the motto “Andreas Gabalier: Olympiastadion 5.0”, the folk musician returns to Munich, where he will be performing for the 5th time. His opening act Stereoact and David Hasselhoff as a special guest will make the stadium shake. So start singing with “Hulapalu”, “I sing a lie for di” and “Bügel dein Dirndl gscheit auf”.
