Oktoberfest 2025: Many celebrities celebrated at the Wiesn during the first week – we'll name a few... (there is only one original)

190th Munich Oktoberfest – until October 5, 2025 – Live-Cam BAVARIA – 12 hours of live views of the Theresienwiese in Munich

Munich. Who has been to the Wiesn so far? They came in smart lederhosen and dirndls! They got styled at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof, and then they headed off to the Wiesn festival. For example, to the annual society event "Ladies Red Wiesn" at the Munich Oktoberfest – on Wednesday – where all the invited ladies celebrated in red dirndls. "Red for a good cause" was the motto of the 6th Ladies Red Wiesn. Heart and elegance met in the "Wildstuben" (Wildstuben). But many celebrities could be seen everywhere. They enjoyed the atmosphere and ambience and even performed with the bands, including "Terminator" and avowed Oktoberfest fan Arnold Schwarzenegger (now 78 years old), who also conducted. New Munich resident Jürgen Drews was spotted with his wife and daughter. Drews, who lived in Taufkirchen for 25 years, then moved to Mallorca, and finally found his way back home, is now a Munich resident again. You simply belong at the Oktoberfest! ... and on the second Sunday of the Oktoberfest, sculptor and painter Markus Lüpertz (84) was even seen in the Schützenzelt (shooters' tent) - (the artist knows: there can only ever be one original) -, ... and Wayne Carpendale and Matze Knop were also seen at the Oktoberfest in Munich. The "who's who" of politics, business, culture, and the media opened the Oktoberfest in Munich over a week ago, and the party has been going on ever since!

So many celebrity faces were spotted in the first week that we can only list them:

Heidi Klum made headlines right from the start with her "Heidi Fest" at the Hofbräuhaus, where she invited many well-known faces, including Thomas Hayo and Tom Kaulitz.

So far, the real Oktoberfest (only one original can shake at a time) under the Bavaria statue has included:

Anyone in Munich during Oktoberfest simply has to go to the Oktoberfest!

Last year, US singer La Toya Jackson also made a surprise appearance at the Theresienwiese. Dressed in a red wild silk dirndl and matching hat, the 68-year-old sister of superstar Michael Jackson looked like a Munich native at the Red Ladies Oktoberfest.  190. Münchner Oktoberfest  - noch bis 05. Oktober 2025 - Live-Cam BAVARIA - 12 Stunden Live-Blick auf die Theresienwiese in München

 München. Wer war bislang bereits auf der Wiesn?   Sie kamen in feschen Lederhosen und Dirndl'n! Ließen sich im Hotel Bayerischer Hof stylen und dann ging es zum Wiesn-Fest. Zum Beispiel zum jährlichen Society-Event „Ladies Red Wiesn“ auf dem Münchner Oktoberfest - am Mittwoch - bei dem alle eingeladenen Damen der Gesellschaft im roten Dirndl feierten. "Rot für den guten Zweck" lautete das Motto bim 6. Ladies Red Wiesn.  Herz und Eleganz trafen sich in den "Wildstuben". Aber überall sah man hin und wieder viele Prominente. Sie genossen die Stimmung und das Ambiente und traten sogar mit den Musik-Kapellen auf wie der "Terminator" und bekennende Wiesnfan Arnold Schwarzenegger (inzwischen 78 Jahre alt), der gleich mit dirigierte.  Gesehen wurden der Neu-Münchner Jürgen Drews mit Frau und Tochter. Drews, der 25 Jahre in Taufkirchen lebte, dann nach Malle zog und schließlich wieder nach Hause fand, ist jetzt wieder Münchner. Da gehört man einfach auf die Wiesn! ... und am zweiten Wiesn-Sonntag sah man sogar den Bildhauer und Maler Markus Lüpertz (84) im Schützenzelt und man sah Wayne Carpendale oder auch Matze Knop auf dem Oktoberfest in München.  Das "Who is Who" aus der Politik, der Wirtschaft, der Kultur und den Medien eröffneten das Oktoberfest vor über einer Woche in München und seitdem wird gefeiert!

In der ersten Woche wurden so viele Prominente Gesichter gesehen, dass wir schlicht nur noch auflisten können:

Schlagzeilen machte gleich zu Anfang Heidi Klum mit ihrem "Heidi Fest" im Hofbräuhaus, wo sie mit Thomas Hayo und Tom Kaulitz viele bekannte Gesichter eingeladen hatte.

Gerne erinnern wir uns auch an die letzte Wiesn mit La Toya Jackson

Wer in München zur Oktoberfestzeit ist, gehört  einfach auf die Wiesn! 

Im letzten Jahr kam überraschend  auch die US-Sängerin La Toya Jackson auf die Theresienwiese. Mit rotem Dirndl aus Wildseide und passendem Hut sah die 68-Jährige Schwester des Superstars Michael Jackson aus wie eine Münchnerin zur Red Ladies Wiesn. IT'S ALL MUNICH "Let the Sunshine In" and #hockdiher

Munich. The UEFA EURO 2024 has made the city the host city of Munich. Everyone is cheering in the fan zone in the Olympic Park in front of the big screens during the public viewing. In Munich's squares there is a free supporting program such as the Münchner Kindl at Marienplatz or the six meeting benches in the Olympic Park. Here you can talk to guests from the football world or society under the motto #hockdiher. In Munich - as in the other host cities - fans from all over Europe are celebrating this summer's great football festival. There are free performances or concerts and Bavarian delicacies and a good mood everywhere. This weekend there is also the famous Christopher Street Day in downtown Munich and the colorful Tollwood summer festival in the Olympic Park. Where everything sings on June 22nd from 10 p.m. under the direction of music director Jens Junker with the Go Sing Choir and the Hippie Chamber Orchestra. The well-known songs “Give Peace a Chance” by John Lennon and “Let the Sunshine In”, which is in everyone's ears from the musical Hair, will ring out in the park. In the night sky, illuminated drones will write symbols in the night sky. So: have your iPhones and smartphones ready. The city of Munich's KiKS festival also starts today for children and young people aged 5 to 15 - it is the beginning of the children's cultural summer in Munich (the link leads to our article in this blog )

If you like, you can chill out with live music on the cultural beach on the Isar in Munich

The cultural program on the Cornelius Bridge on the cultural beach on the Isar lasts from May to September in 2024. This mid-summer meeting place on the cooling Isar attracts Munich residents and visitors to Munich every day from 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. with live or electronic music, a beautiful and varied children's program and participatory sports.

And then there is the folk rock'n'roller from Austria who will rock the Lederhosen and Dirndl stage on June 22nd. Under the motto “Andreas Gabalier: Olympiastadion 5.0”, the folk musician returns to Munich, where he will be performing for the 5th time. The, let's say "folk rock'n'roller" or rather folk musician will make his fans dance in the Olympic Stadium. His opening act Stereoact and David Hasselhoff as a special guest will make the stadium shake. So start singing with “Hulapalu”, “I sing a lie for di” and “Bügel dein Dirndl gscheit auf”. But he also ensures the romance when he puts the tears on the dirndl with “Amoi seg'ma us again”. The stage show promises pure folk rock'n'roll and the music will certainly also be audible in the park.

DAS ALLES IST MÜNCHEN "Let the Sunshine In" und #hockdiher

München. Die UEFA EURO 2024 hat die Stadt zur Host City München werden lassen. Alles jubelt in der Fan Zone im Olympiapark vor den Großleinwänden beim Public Viewing. Auf Münchens Plätzen gibt es dazu ein kostenfreies Rahmenprogramm wie das Münchner Kindl am Marienplatz oder die sechs Begegnungsbänke im Olympiapark. Hier kann man unter dem Motto #hockdiher mit Gästen aus der Fußballwelt oder der Gesellschaft sprechen. In München feiern – wie in den anderen Austragungsstädten – die Fans aus ganz Europa das super Fußball-Festival dieses Sommers. Es gibt kostenfreie Performances oder auch Konzerte und überall Bayerische Schmankerl und gute Laune. Es gibt dieses Wochenende dazu noch den berühmten Christopher Street Day in der Münchner Innenstadt und das bunte Tollwood-Sommerfestival im Olympiapark. Wo am 22. Juni ab 22 Uhr unter der Leitung des Musikdirektors Jens Junker mit dem Go Sing Choir und dem Hippie-Kammerorchester alles singt. Die bekannten Songs „Give Peace a Chance“ von John Lennon und „Let the Sunshine In“, der vom Musical Hair in aller Ohren ist werden den Park erschallen lassen. Im Nachthimmel werden beleuchtete Drohnen Symbole in den Nachthimmel schreiben. Also: I-Phones und Smartphones bereithalten. Heute startet außerdem für Kinder und Jugendliche von 5 bis 15 Jahren das KiKS-Festival der Stadt München – es ist der Beginn des Kinder-Kultur-Sommers in München (der Link führt zu unserem Artikel in diesem Blog)

Wer mag der chillt bei Live-Musik auf dem Kulturstrand an der Isar in München

Das Kulturprogramm auf der Corneliusbrücke am Kulturstrand an der Isar dauert 2024 von Mai bis September. Dieser hochsommerliche Treffpunkt an der kühlenden Isar lockt die Münchner und die Münchengäste täglich in der Zeit von von 12:00 bis 23:00 Uhr ein Live- oder Elektro-Musik, schönem und abwechslungsreichen Kinderprogramm und Mitmachsport.

Und da ist dann noch der Volks-Rock'n'Roller aus Österreich der am 22. Juni die Lederhosen- und Dirndl-Bühne rockt. Unter dem Motto „Andreas Gabalier: Olympiastadion 5.0“ kehrt der Volksmusiker zurück nach München, wo er übrigens zum 5. Mal auftritt. Der, sagen wir „Volks-Rock'n'Roller“ oder besser Volksmusiker wird seine Fans im Olympiastadion zum Tanzen bringen. Seine Vorband Stereoact und David Hasselhoff als Special Guest werden das Stadion zum beben bringen. Also schon mal reinsingen mit „Hulapalu“, „I sing a Liad für di“ und „Bügel dein Dirndl gscheit auf". Für die Romantik sorgt er aber auch, wenn er mit „Amoi seg'ma uns wieder“ die Träne auf's Dirndl-Gesicht und vielleicht auch auf die Lederhosen-Gesichter bringt. Die Bühnenshow verspricht also Volks-Rock'n'Roll pur und die Musik wird sicherlich auch im Park hörbar sein.
