Munich: Tollwood Summer Festival from June 21st to July 21st, 2024 in the Olympiapark Süd
The Tollwood Summer Festival in the beautiful Olympic Park brings the finest beer and food culture, art and international live music to Munich
Meeting point “Market of Ideas”, demonstrations and workshops by theater and performance groups and, above all, Tollwood concerts (German, French, Italian)
Munich. The summer festival in Munich's beautiful Olympic Park starts at the beginning of summer and runs parallel to the 2024 European Football Championship. The motto of the Tollwood summer this year is "Together: Stop!" - for democracy and protecting the earth. For a full 32 days, the park at the stadium, which was built for the Olympic Games in 1972, will attract many music fans, people interested in culture and visitors to Munich. As every year, there is the colorful “Market of Ideas”, demonstrations and workshops by theater and performance groups and, above all, Tollwood concerts with international live music. In addition to handicrafts from all over the world, the organic gastronomy allows you to enjoy and relax. By the way, more than 90 percent of all events do not charge an entry fee!

International stars in the music arena
Let's put it this way: the opening weekend on the evening of June 21st and 22nd will give you goosebumps when ALL visitors will make the Olympiapark Süd sing together because there will be singing. For example, the songs “Give Peace a Chance” by John Lennon and “Let the Sunshine In” from the musical Hair. Thousands are expected to raise their voices in rhythmic singing. And drones will write glowing symbols that can be seen from afar in the night sky. The song symbolizes the festival's motto "Together: Stop!"

Maurice Ravel's Bolero will be a catchy tune for festival visitors
Tollwood celebrates beer culture
There would be no Tollwood summer festival without the big breweries and also not without new, small and innovative brewers. Organic beer, craft beer and a changing beer culture that offers beer-based cocktails, for example, are also announced. There are also delicious dishes: hearty or delicate, which harmonize with the barley juice.
The Tollwood culture, which rounds off the Bavarian national drink, also goes well with beer enjoyment
For example, this will be the case
- Pastor Rainer Maria Schiessler presents a sharp-tongued cabaret for a morning pint,
- there is a pub quiz to test your beer knowledge;
- there is dialect
- and always music
People are excitedly waiting for the newly designed “Wüda Hund” craft beer garden and the brasserie.
Tollwood offers 500 events in the Munich Olympic Park
