Munich: Cultural event on June 12, 2024 – first mega concert on Theresienwiese
The FAN FEST EURO 2024 will take place on June 12th with 60,000 fans on the Oktoberfest meadow or Theresienwiese in Munich

Munich. We are celebrating a premiere in Munich's city history: a five-hour concert program on the Theresienwiese. Many people wanted to use the Oktoberfest for large concerts, but that didn't work out. Now, for the first time, Munich's Theresienwiese is becoming a music location for the major cultural event. Tournament director Philipp Lahm and EURO ambassador Celia Šašić will open the cultural event together on June 12th and will welcome prominent guests from the football world to the stage in between. I talked about this at a meeting with the world music star and football fan Ed Sheeran,” says Philipp Lahm. “Thanks to strong partners like Deutsche Telekom, the concert organizer FKP Scorpio, the event agency PRO EVENTS and my hometown of Munich, we can offer people another highlight at fair admission prices.”

The residents around the Oktoberfest will be amazed at the 90,000 music fans and the logistics of the organizers
... and keep the windows open or closed depending on your music taste. The concerts start at 4:00 p.m. - doors open at 2:00 p.m. In addition to the concerts, fan campaigns will provide good entertainment on the site and a wide range of catering options will be prepared to cater for music fans and European Football Championship enthusiasts. The construction has already started a few weeks ago and it is exciting to see what is happening at the feet of the Bavaria.
The FAN FEST EURO 2024 will bring five international superstars to the stage on June 12th
The Theresienwiese with the Bavaria is in the heart of Munich. The music event starts here
- at 4 p.m. with singer-songwriter Tim Bendzko.
- At 5 p.m. we'll hear British pop star Dylan.
- Then football fan and singer Mark Forster will rock the stage from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Pop icon Nelly Furtado will sing well-known hits and new songs from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- The evening ends with the super concert by megastar Ed Sheeran from Great Britain. Here we are treated to world hits from 9:15 p.m. to 10:45 p.m., i.e. a whole 90 minutes.
