Off to Wolfsburg to the winter wonderland and to two Porsche exhibitions in the Autostadt


Wolfsburg shows the exhibitions “50 Years of Porsche Turbo” and “Porsche 911”

Wolfsburg is worth a trip these days: on the one hand, the great winter wonderland with ice disco, magical huts and the large snow playground is calling (from November 29th to January 5th) and on the other hand, there are two highlights for Porsche fans! Under the motto “Beyond Performance” (on level 3 of the Zeithaus) there is the exhibition “50 Years of Porsche Turbo”, which impresses with five vehicles in the Zeithaus. And there is the most famous one in the Porsche Pavilion, the “Porsche 911” as an “augmented reality experience”.

Beyond Performance. 50 years of Porsche Turbo



The new exhibition “Beyond Performance. 50 Years of Porsche Turbo” in the Zeithaus celebrates the “Turbo feeling”. Five selected Porsche vehicles are shown here:

  •     Porsche 911 Turbo 3.3.,
  •     Porsche 911 Turbo S,
  •     Porsche 956 C Coupé,
  •     Porsche Panamera Turbo
  •      Porsche 911 Turbo

... and what else is there to see?

  •     engines,
  •     Turbocharger
  •     Wall graphics
  •     there is an interactive touchscreen for further information

so that the world of the Porsche Turbo is enchanting.


911 – The one and always


One number says it all. It immediately makes die-hard Porsche fans smile. What? Yes: in the Porsche Poster Studio the 911 becomes an “augmented reality experience”. This “new exhibition experience” is available in an epilogue room in the Porsche Pavilion. Analog and digital, the space for discoveries and interactions should be opened up.

How should you imagine that?

So the automotive highlight is a 911 in Lugano blue, which is flanked by various posters about the iconic 911 sports car. Overwhelming, large-format posters show the diversity of the series and provide a 3D experience. When the visitor points their smartphone at the posters, the digital level opens:

  •     The subjects begin to move,
  •     Objects become three-dimensional
  •     and information layers open.


In a lounge you can chat or generate your own posters.
