On school days there is a reading program on site for school classes
Whether digitally or in guided workshops, entire school classes will make a pilgrimage to the book presentations and get to know the BOOK medium in a new way in the age of social media.
Klaus Füreder, Chairman of the German Book Trade Association - Landesverband Bayern e.V. - told the press:
» In times like these, events like the Munich Book Show are of immense value. They offer space for community, exchange and discourse and overall promote and celebrate Reading culture, which is essential for social participation. Be it new perspectives to adopt and reflect on the issues that currently concern us all occupy. Or to consciously escape reality from time to time and yourself to be completely absorbed by a book, to discover new things and to enjoy the reading experience to share with others.
