Munich: Celebrate Wirtshauswiesn like in an Oktoberfest tent

Over 40 Munich restaurants offer the full Oktoberfest feeling in the pub

It's like Oktoberfest! The inner-city Wirtshauswiesn with live music in Munich expands the Oktoberfest feeling

Munich. If you are in Munich for a longer period of time and want to experience the festival tent feeling of the people of Munich every evening, we recommend the Wirtshaus-Wiesn. There is live music and a marquee atmosphere with over 40 city center innkeepers. The restaurants are actually part of the Oktoberfest experience and if you don't know the Wirtshauswiesn, you're missing out. Here you can experience the original. Half of Munich celebrates in traditional costume with its guests in the Hofbräuhaus, in the Bratwurstherzl at the Viktualienmarkt, at the Nuremberg Bratwurst Glöckl at the cathedral (see photo) or in the Munich cafés such as the Café Rischart at Marienplatz and in over 40 other inns. - A little tip: it's best to reserve a table here too! - When? Until the end of the Oktoberfest on October 6th, 2024. At the Nuremberg Bratwurst Glöckl am Dom, freshly tapped food has been served for 130 years - of course AUGUSTINER, which is what Freddie Mercury always liked to drink when he lived in Munich (more on this in this blog in the article: "The photo exhibition by Peter Hince “QUEEN in MUNICH” in the Stephen Hoffman Gallery in the Hotel Bayerischer Hof shows a piece of rock history " - in German: "Die Foto-Ausstellung von Peter Hince „QUEEN in MUNICH“ in der Galerie Stephen Hoffman im Hotel Bayerischer Hof zeigt ein Stück Rockgeschichte ")

So in one day you can experience the Oktoberfest atmosphere at the WirtshausWiesn

You get to know Munich in a different way! Lederhosen and dirndls are completely normal here - but not a must! The Bavarian joy of life, the open-mindedness of Bavarians and the Munich feeling can be experienced in the restaurants during the Oktoberfest, when the locals say:

“Sit here, then there will be more of us!”
