Oktoberfest countdown 2024 in Hanover
In addition to the big Oktoberfest in Munich, the Oktoberfest 2024 in Hanover starts at 3 p.m
Lower Saxony Oktoberfest on Schützenplatz in Hanover from September 27th to Sunday, October 13th, 2024
Hanover. Hurray, it's that time again. We can't wait. The hours and minutes are already being counted. The countdown on the official homepage www.oktoberfest-hannover.de counts 5 hours and as I write a few minutes until the opening of the small Oktoberfest 2024 in the Lower Saxony state capital Hanover. Because all the festival tents in Munich are already fully booked, according to "Hannover Radio" on September 27th, many foreign guests have already made reservations for the Hanover hotels and festival tents "Festhalle Marris" and "Festhalle Ahrend".

PLEASE NOTE: the Oktoberfest in Hanover is closed on Monday and Tuesday! All opening times are below! In Hanover there are extensive celebrations in 2 festival halls! There are theme days for our "heroes in uniform" and great specials for children's birthdays - see below! And also make a note: Wednesdays are family day at the Hanover Oktoberfest. And the big lantern parade on October 11th - from 6 p.m. - from the “Platz der Kulturen” (formerly Trammplatz) to Schützenplatz.
