New Year's Eve in Munich - Plan now!!!
Where do we watch the New Year's Eve fireworks: here are the most beautiful views
Places to see beautiful fireworks in the state capital of Munich
Munich. There are many places in the state capital that offer a great view of the upcoming New Year's Eve fireworks. Where do we find them? We have put some together here. When it's midnight in Munich, all partygoers want to get out the door. But there are also roof terraces (like in the Hotel Bayerischer Hof or in the Mandarin), many parks, Isar bridges, gentle hills and large areas that invite you to view the fireworks - including, of course, the Olympiaberg and the area around the Angel of Peace. If you are planning a fireworks display yourself, you should know for New Year's Eve: In the city center there is an absolute ban on firecrackers and firecrackers in the entire Middle Ring; There is also a complete ban on fireworks in many areas of the city center - this includes the entire Marienplatz, the Stachus, the pedestrian zone on Kaufingerstrasse, the romantic Viktualienmarkt and some side streets, which are marked accordingly. Please inform in advance so that it will be a nice New Year for everyone. Information is available - with a city map - for example at www.muenchen.de/silvester

Big New Year's Eve party on the Winter Tollwood and fireworks below the Bavaria on the Theresienwiese
The Tollwood New Year's Eve party (New Year's Eve party) starts around 7 p.m. with bands, mulled wine and champagne. When the turn of the year approaches at midnight, you should go to the Theresienwiese, where you can see the vastness of New Year's Eve over the city. A great and much-visited location is at Theresienhöhe and around the Bavaria.

On New Year's Eve you can also fall into each other's arms at the Angel of Peace
In addition to the many Isar bridges like at the German Museum or the Zoo in Thalkirchen, you can enjoy a great view over the Lehel Munich from the Friedensengel. This is where all of Haidhausen and Bogenhausen meet. The view over Munich is breathtaking here, especially on New Year's Eve.

As always, the view from Olympiaberg over the state capital Munich is beautiful, and not just during the day
It takes a while to get to the Olympiaberg, but you can get close with the U3 and it's only a few hundred meters until you're on the hill. The Olympic Park is one of Munich's most popular New Year's Eve locations.

Celebrate at Königsplatz
The Königsplatz is quite large, so that everyone is well spread out in the backdrop of the museums and the fireworks can be watched well here.

The famous Luitpold Hill invites you to watch fireworks
Let's enjoy the 360 degree view over the state capital Munich from the Luitpold Hill. If you don't know this "mountain" in the park of the same name, you can come here on New Year's Eve...

From Schwabing you can quickly reach the Monopteros in the English Garden
From the hill of Monopteros you can see the old town towards the Hofgarten and the entire English Garden. The Greek-style temple of the gods stands, so to speak, in the middle of the state capital Munich. You can celebrate and be amazed while sitting or standing on the wonderful stairs.
