But there are also roof terraces (like in the Hotel Bayerischer Hof or in the Mandarin), many parks, Isar bridges, gentle hills and large areas that invite you to view the fireworks - including, of course, the Olympiaberg and the area around the Angel of Peace.  If you are planning a fireworks display yourself, you should know for New Year's Eve: In the city center there is an absolute ban on firecrackers and firecrackers in the entire Middle Ring; There is also a complete ban on fireworks in many areas of the city center - this includes the entire Marienplatz, the Stachus, the pedestrian zone on Kaufingerstrasse, the romantic Viktualienmarkt and some side streets, which are marked accordingly.
