DINNER FOR ONE/BREAKFAST FOR THREE will be performed twice on December 31, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. in the theater hall of the Amerikahaus in Munich
Munich. New Year's Eve is approaching and with it dinner at Miss Sophie's! Hardly any other play has shaped New Year's Eve rituals as much as DINNER BEFORE ONE. In Munich, actor and director Richard Clodfelter, together with Laurie Dawn (Miss Sophie) and Paul Flush, the jazz pianist, will expand his comedic ideas to include the popular “Dinner for One” sketch. The funny bone will twitch when Miss Sophie's evening dinner is supplemented by a 'Morning after' sketch with the beautiful title 'Breakfast for Three'. The play is performed in 60 minutes in English by the American Drama Group Europe.

Miss Sophie's dalliances?
Some questions have been around for decades: Who are Sir Toby, Admiral von Schneider, Mr. Pommeroy and Mr. Winterbottom? Was there any romantic history with these gentlemen and a young Miss Sophie?

Theater producer Grantly Marshall once had the idea for this extended sketch and it was well received. He rehearsed the piece together with his world-famous American Drama Group Europe.
On December 31st, it's that time again Richard Clodfelter and Laurie Dawn, as Miss Sophie, conquer the stage in the Amerikahaus. The very popular Dinner For One sketch and the "Morning after" sketch, with the beautiful title Breakfast for Three, may reveal the secret of Sir Toby, Admiral von Schneider, Mr. Pommeroy and Mr. Winterbottom and their romance with the young Miss Sophia.
