Munich Oktoberfest from September 21st to October 6th on the Theresienwiese below the Bavaria

Munich. WELCOME TO OKTOBERFEST, that's what it says above the main entrance. The tension and anticipation are increasing because there are still 45 days and 20 hours until "o'zapft". The countdown on the official website “Oktoberfest.de”. The 189th Oktoberfest is almost just around the corner, at least here in Minga. A reason for a few current photo impressions of the Theresienwiese, where the beer halls, terraces, wine houses like Kuffler and halls like the HEIMER Entenbraterei (at the Oktoberfest for 40 years) are constantly growing, their roofs and towers are being preserved and the OIDE WIESN is even being built .

It doesn't start until September 21st, but then you can celebrate on Theresienwiese until October 6th

It all starts when Dieter Reiter, the mayor of the city of Munich, taps the first barrel of beer on September 21st at 12 p.m. in the Schottenhamel Festhalle - Boarisch: o'zapft!

The entire Oktoberfest construction site is fenced off with construction fences. Anyone who would like to get an idea in advance has the opportunity to take part in a construction site tour of the festival meadow this year. Every Friday to Sunday (until September 1, 2024) you have the opportunity to have the official “Guest Guides of the State Capital of Munich” show you everything in 90 minutes.
