Oktoberfest 2024 - The festival of the state capital Munich. The festival beer at the Oktoberfest is a hit and is mentioned worldwide when it comes to the Munich Oktoberfest. But there is also a long wine tradition here: this year we walk across the Theresienwiese to follow the construction, and we immediately notice the “Kufflers wine tent” below the Bavaria. This year the Kuffler innkeepers are at the Oktoberfest for the 40th time! - By the way, wine has been served at the Oktoberfest since 1885. - The Kuffler's anniversary is celebrated! Because that's what it says on the homepage: "We will donate one euro from every "Großer Kuffler brotZeit" sold in Kuffler's wine tent at Oktoberfest 2024 to brotZeit e.V. And the best thing: we will double this amount!" (Reservations: www.weinzelt.com/de/reservierung/) The menu promises cozy hours for connoisseurs, because - you won't believe it - at the Oktoberfest, like in the regular restaurants in Munich, they cook à la minute...!

Reservations can already be made for different times of the day on the official Kufflers Weinzelt homepage
... because the large wine tent only has 1,540 seats inside and 540 outside. Every day we celebrate here with great live music until 1 a.m. and probably with the tent completely full!
However, the only beer specialty here is Paulaner wheat beer and that only until 9 p.m., after which you can enjoy a long Oktoberfest night with champagne, sparkling wine, prosecco or wine.
This is where party-loving connoisseurs as well as world- and city-famous celebrities meet. It happens that the athletes from FC Bayern, famous actors or musicians celebrate here. The Munich daily newspapers and TV Munich will report!
Kufflers wine tent at the Oktoberfest: Even from the outside, guests can see what awaits them in the wine tent
The finely graduated half-timbering made of wood that is over 100 years old and the rustic wooden paneling inside immediately make us think of one of the typical Franconian vineyards and the cozy wine bars. The corner benches in the usual wooden boxes ensure a sufficiently private atmosphere and the music creates a celebratory atmosphere. There is partying here with live music until late into the night.
As already mentioned, from 9 p.m. only wine and sparkling wine or champagne are served. The celebration lasts until after midnight - the wine tent is open later than the others.

The music of Högl Fun Band, Blechblos’n, Marsh Kröten, Pongau Power and Sunnseitn
According to the homepage, there is no traditional brass music in the wine tent, as the music from the live bands simply adapts to the mood. Five bands play every day from midday and from 4 p.m. the Blechblos'n come on, who, amazingly, have been here since 1994.
