Classic car meeting in Maxlrain: 30. May 2024

25 years of “Maxlrainer Oldie Feeling” - 2024

Happy birthday, Maxlrainer Oldie Feeling! Garage gold of superlatives will meet for the 25th time on May 30, 2024 on the Schlosswiese in Maxlrain and on May 31 for the Oldie Night on Friday, May 31, from 6:30 p.m. in front of the exhibition hall in Bad Aibling

Southern Germany's largest classic car meeting, the "Maxlrainer Oldie Feeling" will take place on the holiday, Corpus Christi Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the large castle meadow of Maxlrain (Aiblinger Str. 1, 83104 Tuntenhausen) - GERMAN

Bad Aibling - Maxlrain Castle. Everyone will think for a moment, what kind of cars were on the road 40 years ago, i.e. 1984? Hmm, the Golf is 50 years old this year, so the Golf I should already be part of the oldie feeling in Maxlrain and everyone who has even more years under their belt anyway. Hurray, it's that time again! The holiday on Thursday, May 30, 2024 will be the anniversary day for southern Germany's largest classic car meeting: the Maxlrainer Oldie Feeling! This year, more than 3,000 historic automobiles and motorcycles are expected on the large meadow and in front of the romantic backdrop of Maxlrain Castle. Presumably over 15,000 enthusiastic vintage car drivers and friends will arrive and enjoy the variety of automobiles from an earlier time a good two generations ago. Are the numbers astonishing? Yes, but this is the largest classic car meeting of its kind in the whole of southern Germany and last year over 4,500 four and two-wheelers arrived in the spa town of Bad Aibling. The classic car meeting is organized by the ADAC in collaboration with the Upper Bavarian city of Bad Aibling. And on Friday, May 31st, from 6:30 p.m., the Oldies Night will take place in front of the exhibition hall in Bad Aibling. We have listed more information about arrival and registration below!

A shiny chrome promenade made of fine sheet metal! You should see something like this: 40 year old (built in 1984) and even older classic cars as well as motorcycles that have been looked after and cared for for more than 30 years. The meeting is a tribute to automotive history.

The Maxlrainer oldie feeling had its origins in 1998 in a small vintage car party on the occasion of the start of the ADAC Bavaria Historic (which is not taking place this year) with a jazz breakfast and collector's market

At the time, people were amazed that 300 vintage car visitors came to the meadow of the almost 500-year-old Maxlrain Castle (built 1582–1585).

“Back then, as now, we are happy to be hosting the Maxlrainer Oldie Feeling. We love it and have a lot of fun because there are always lots of nice people coming and there is a good atmosphere,” says Dr. Prince Erich von Lobkowicz, landlord of Maxlrain Castle.

“We are pleased about the increasing popularity of our classic car meeting from year to year, which is now the largest in southern Germany. Without the good partnership with the hosts Prince Erich and Peter von Lobkowicz and the city of Bad Aibling as well as the great work of our volunteers, the implementation of this major event would not be conceivable - a big thank you for that," emphasizes Fritz Schadeck, chairman of the organizing committee and board of directors for youth and sport of the ADAC Südbayern.
