Peter Hince's book was published in 2015
"QUEEN INTIM. Groupies, Gin and Glitter - On tour with QUEEN" at the German Book Market (English title "QUEEN UNSEEN",

which is highly recommended at this point.

English version:
Peter Hince
"Queen Unseen: My Life With the Greatest Rock Band of the 20th Century"

The paperback contains exclusive photos of the band and allows a very personal insight behind the band's scenes. With around 320 million records sold, QUEEN is probably one of the most successful and popular rock bands of all time. Peter Hince first met the group in 1973; At that time they were the opening act for the band "Mott The Hoople" and it took less than two years until he went on tour with QUEEN as head roadie.

“Queen intimate” is a must-read for Queen fans

Anyone who grew up with the music of the seventies and eighties has experienced those moments when a new single or LP came onto the market. People were looking forward to the concerts and many people still have those tickets today, the ones that meant freedom back then - at least for the duration of a concert. A contemporary document.

From 1979 to 1985, Freddie Mercury (whose real name was Farrokh Bulsara) lived off and on in his apartment in Munich, met with the other band members of the group in Reinhold Mack's Musicland Studio for recordings and celebrated parties in the clubs and hotels Bavarian state capital.

Peter Hince experienced the rock band QUEEN every day, both privately and professionally

Freddie - or rather, "Fred", as Hince calls him in the book, often had his "legendary outbursts of temper" and Hince, who everyone called "Ratty", always came up with something to counteract them.

In this book, Peter Hince lets the reader experience his everyday life at Queen and tells in easy reading what it was really like for him. The reader becomes a spectator...

Tantrums and swapping guitars: That's what it was really like on tour with Queen

For more than ten years, Peter Hince toured the world with Queen and experienced "Sex, Drugs & Rock'n'Roll". On and behind the stage, in the recording studio or at a lavish party in a Munich bar. As head of the road crew, he was responsible for ensuring that Freddie Mercury was able to deliver his phenomenal performances again and again.

Those legendary performances that many still remember today - it wasn't just the technical support that was in demand, but often also his psychological support.

Hince relives his time with Queen with wonderfully dry humor

It's the seventies and a young rock band travels to the USA. The girls like the British boys because they have a “sweet British accent,” says Peter. They were still allowed to smoke on the plane and the disease called AIDS does not yet exist. The illness that would tragically end the life of rock legend Freddie Mercury.
