The German Foundation for Monument Protection publishes the nationwide program for Heritage Day

Munich - Bavaria. The Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation is offering a program for Heritage Day on September 14, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., including guided tours, a children's program, city walks, snacks, and much more. Every year, this day achieves the goal of opening up buildings that would otherwise remain closed to visitors and bringing the topic of cultural heritage to the forefront of society. The day will be officially opened nationwide with a ceremonial opening ceremony by the German Foundation for Monument Protection in Gera.

- Attendance and participation are free of charge.
- For some program items, the number of participants is limited
- – free tickets for the tours will be available on site from approximately 10:15 a.m. on Open Monument Day
at the Old Mint (Hofgraben 4, 80539 Munich).
All of the city's palaces will be included.
