Our 190th Munich Oktoberfest will take place from Saturday, September 20th, 2025, to Sunday, October 5th, 2025! (ENGLISH, DEUTSCH)
Munich. Oktoberfest season is approaching - the rides are currently being set up!!! It all starts on Saturday, September 20th, 2025!!! - We're giving you a taste of the best day of Oktoberfest: starting at 9 a.m., thousands of visitors will flock to the Theresienwiese. But only when the Wiesn innkeepers transport the beer to the Theresienwiese, at the very latest, will all Munich residents know: It's Oktoberfest! The beer is here! Decorated carriages, brewery teams, the mayor and the Münchner Kindl (Munich Child), along with the festival tent innkeepers, will parade on September 20, 2025, at 10:45 a.m. from Josephspitalstraße to the Theresienwiese below the Bavaria statue.

At 12 noon sharp, Munich's Mayor Dieter Reiter will open Oktoberfest in the Schottenhamel Festival Hall with the traditional call
"O'zapft is!"

For the 2025 Munich Oktoberfest, the parade will take place along the following Munich streets, which will be lined with onlookers:
- Josephspitalstraße
- östliche Sonnenstraße
- Schwanthalerstraße
- Hermann-Lingg-Straße
- Bavariaring
- Theresienwiese
- Wirtsbudenstraße

On the first Saturday of the Wiesn in 2025 - with the tapping of the first beer keg by Munich Mayor Dieter Reiter at 12 noon sharp, the Wiesn will officially be open!
- Tents will be open from 9 a.m., and non-alcoholic beverages (except non-alcoholic beer) will be available from 10 a.m.
- From 12 noon: "Ozapft is!" and beer will begin to be served

Monday to Friday, the tents open at 10:00 a.m. and close at 11:30 p.m.
- Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays: Bar service from 9:00 a.m., curfew at 11:30 p.m.
- Festival halls - last beer and music until 10:30 p.m.
- Small tents: Chicken roasters, snack bars, and café tents with music ending at 11:00 p.m.
- Käfer Wiesn-Schänke / Kufflers Weinzelt open until 1:00 a.m. / last drinks from 12:30 a.m.

When are the fairground businesses open?
- On opening day, from 12 noon to midnight

The Munich Oktoberfest celebrates with the little ones on official and discounted family days.
- The two Tuesdays are the official family days:
- until 7 p.m. each day.
- In the large and small festival tents, there are discounted offers and menus for children with families.
- Rides and stalls also offer reduced prices for these groups.
- Who offers these? The signs "Family Day" or "Children's Day" indicate price reductions!!!
