There was snow in Munich the other day
Winter photo impressions from Munich - snow photos from the Bavarian capital
We take a look back and show snow impressions in January (from our press photo blog archive)
Munich. Winter people are waiting for snow! Winter holidays without snow were always boring. And so many Munich residents hoped that the city would turn white again. Every now and then a few flakes would fall. And in some cases the snow finally stayed put. In the afternoon there were already three centimeters of snow on Munich's roofs and streets! Here are a few photos of the Bavarian capital Munich, which was recently still covered in white sugar.

The sky appeared as if it had been painted over the snow-covered Theresienwiese and there was snow on the shoulders of the Madonna Bavariae on Marienplatz
