Among the Winterworld classics are:
- the ice skating rink,
- the historic children's carousel,
- and the Ferris wheel.
- NEW this year: a children's train for the youngest guests.
An improved curling rink: It has been extended by five meters and now measures 12.5 meters." Meters – for even more fun.
Christmas Tree Sale and Festive Program
The Christmas tree sale, taking place for the first time, showcases sustainability by offering exclusively trees from regional organic farms.
A diverse supporting program provides entertainment
- with artists,
- themed DJ evenings,
- traditional brass band music,
- face painting,
- and fascinating Krampus figures.
Extended Motorworld Alm, Various Chalets and Cozy Cabins
The expanded MOTORWORLD ALM by Meckatzer promises more space, more comfort, and a more festive atmosphere.
The rustic yet stylish alpine chalet can accommodate up to 170 people and can be booked exclusively; however, it is also possible to reserve individual tables and dine à la carte, or simply drop in spontaneously during a Winterworld visit.
New this year is the Advent Brunch, where you can start your Sunday with a culinary treat every Advent Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
In the traditionally festive Winter Village, new chalets of varying sizes are available, accommodating 20, 40, or up to 55 people.
The cozy chalets are heated, equipped with a service bell, and feature a new menu. They can be booked individually or as part of a package, for example, by companies, friends, or families for Christmas or birthday parties, and spontaneously if available. Visually, the Winter Village is even more impressive this year: a huge net of lights bathes it in a sparkling sea of light.
Right next to the old railway carriage
with the stage, cozy cabins for up to ten people can also be rented. The musical highlights and the Christmas market atmosphere can be wonderfully enjoyed from here, as the cabins are open at the front. They are indirectly heated and offer a beverage service.
Christmas Workshop & Children's Day on Wednesdays
Winterworld offers everything that makes Christmas especially fun for children: glitter and sparkle as far as the eye can see and the chance to meet Santa Claus. This takes place daily in the new Christmas workshop, which this year is located in an alpine hut and festively decorated.
Children can whisper their wishes to Santa Claus here from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. and from 6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m., hand in their wish lists, recite poems, or sing together. Every Wednesday, Winterworld hosts special children's days with particularly affordable rates, creating a magical Christmas atmosphere.
A colorful array of Christmas culinary delights and handcrafted items
Classic mulled wine is just as much at home in Winterworld Motorworld as punch, warm cocktails, hot chocolate, or children's punch.
Those with a hearty appetite will find plenty to enjoy, including fries, bratwurst, spaetzle specialties, and more. For those with a sweet tooth, there are crêpes, chimney cakes, rice pudding, langos, churros, and crumble with cinnamon, plums, apricots, or pears. In addition, there are culinary offerings such as gözleme, fondue, corn in a cup, and potato dishes, as well as roasted chestnuts or hearty Kaiserschmarrn with vegetables and dip. New this year is the American Hut with smash burgers, various types of French fries, and homemade American lemonade and iced tea.
Besides the culinary variety, visitors to Winterworld can expect a diverse selection of lovingly crafted handicrafts.
From high-quality, sometimes hand-blown, Christmas tree ornaments to hand-drawn illustrations with humorous sayings and festive Christmas decorations, the selection is sure to delight. The offerings are complemented by individually crafted jewelry, cozy hats, gloves, and earmuffs for children, and many other gift ideas that invite you to browse and marvel. In total, there are over 30 stalls and vendors, most of whom come from Munich.
