Munich. The SAP Garden in the Olympic Park is a multifunctional arena for ice hockey, basketball and, starting tomorrow, daily public ice skating. You can rent ice skates on site and start skating. There are three ice rinks where you can go ice skating, racket skating, ice dancing, art skating or freestyle skating. The so-called “Hall 1” also has a grandstand for 500 spectators and also offers space for ice sports events. Munich's ultra-modern sports arena not only offers space for ice sports, but also for basketball games and so on. This new hall has space for a total of 11,500 spectators. This super arena is played by the DEL ice hockey club EHC Red Bull Munich and the basketball players from FC Bayern Munich. And in 2027, we can already look forward to it, this hall will be the venue for the 2027 Handball World Cup. And as already mentioned: the public ice skating in the SAP Garden will attract many Munich residents every day. On Saturday, February 22nd, the large arena opens for the ice disco: Tickets for the ICE disco are only available online for 15 euros... www.tickets.sapgarden.com/shops/110
