J.K. Rowling created this developmental novel centered around a sorcerer's apprentice

What was intended as a children's and young adult book quickly conquered the adult world of fantasy readers.

The British writer, screenwriter and film producer J.K. Rowling (born July 31, 1965) became known for her Harry Potter series of novels. - By the way, she also writes under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith - there are now 7 volumes of "his" Cormoran Strike series. -

The 7 books in the Harry Potter book series were published between 1997 and 2007

The fantasy novels about the sorcerer's apprentice Harry Potter have found many, many readers worldwide as children's and young adult books. To date, 600 million copies have been sold worldwide, translated into a total of 85 languages; There are 37 million copies on German bookshelves alone. No wonder that a trend scout colleague for children's and young adult literature suggested these books for filming.

The titles of the books begin with "Harry Potter and..."

  • 1 ... the philosopher's stone 1997
  • 2 ... the Chamber of Secrets 1998
  • 3 ... the prisoner of Azkaban 1999
  • 4 ... the Goblet of Fire 2000
  • 5 … the Order of the Phoenix 2003
  • 6 ... the half-blood prince 2005
