"New Horizons" from October 11th to 20th, 2024: Munich Residence Week // HIGHLIGHTS - International Art Fair Munich 2024 from October 17th to 20th, 2024

Munich.
On October 11, 2024, the Bavarian Palace Administration will start the 22nd Munich Residence Week. The motto sounds promising: “New Horizons”. Over the next 10 days you will have the opportunity to explore Germany's largest inner city palace, the "Munich Residence". There are special themed tours and music for a whole ten days. In addition to the Residenz am Hofgarten in Munich, the Nymphenburg and Schleißheim palaces will also be there. In 2024, Elector Karl Theodor will be at the center. He was an important supporter of science, art and music... The elector's cultural heritage is illuminated in detailed themed and outdoor tours. In Munich we still benefit today from the ideas of Karl Theodor, who founded the English Garden.  Karl Philipp Theodor, who was Charles IV Count Palatine and Elector of the Palatinate as well as Duke of Jülich-Berg from December 31, 1742, finally became Elector of Bavaria on December 30, 1777 as Charles II. He was an educated, enlightened prince and the first ruler of Electoral Palatinate-Bavaria. ... During the castle tours, visitors will learn more about the history of this elector and the castles and experience history up close at the historic site.

Gallery owner Stephen Hoffman from Munich presents “Icons of Photography” at Tegernsee

The masterpieces of photo art and vintage photographs by internationally renowned photographers, whose works can also be found in high-ranking collections and museums around the world, speak the clear artistic language of our time.

The gallery owner Stephen Hoffman has been working personally for over 20 years on an international level with the photographers listed in the portfolio of his Munich art gallery - or directly with their estates or renowned collections. Photo art collectors, curators of international collections and photography lovers appreciate the guaranteed quality and authenticity of the vintage photographs and “icons of photography”. International photographers, fair prices and good provenance characterize all of the “masterpieces of photography” or “icons of photographic art” exhibited in the Stephen Hoffman Gallery or at art fairs.

 Art fair: art KARLSRUHE 2024

Curators, scientists, collectors and enthusiasts will now meet international gallery owners in Karlsruhe

February 22nd to 25th, 2024 - art KARLSRUHE – Classic modern and contemporary art

Karlsruhe - Germany. The art fair year begins when art KARLSRUHE opens its doors as a fair for classical modern and contemporary art from February 22nd to 25th, 2024. In Karlsruhe we find one of the most beautiful exhibition centers in Europe with wide, airy halls to enjoy the view of unobstructed exhibition stands with outstanding works of art in fine daylight and, above all, without pillars.

Example photo: Trade fair stand of the Galerie Jeanne from Munich at art Karlsruhe, here with works by Andy Warhol and Alex Katz - the open, wide hall invites you to stroll, photo: Helga Waess - Courtesy Galerie Jeanne, Jacqueline Hoffman, Munich

Works of art from the last 120 years will be available for purchase at the art fair in Karlsruhe in the coming days

At that time, the avant-garde tendencies in art began, which we now call classical modernism. Cubism, constructivism and expressionism were established in the work of artists. The Bauhaus brought about new things and Dada and Surrealism paved the way to modernity.

In Karlsruhe, curators, scientists, collectors and enthusiasts will now meet the international gallery owners who present works from classical modernism and art after 1945 to contemporary art at their exhibition stands.

The Munich gallery "Galerie Jeanne" will be exhibiting at the international art fair “art KARLSRUHE” next week

Our photo shows the “GALERIE JEANNE – Graphics & Designs” trade fair stand and was taken in one of the last years. The gallery brings graphics and works on paper from the 20th century and contemporary art and will be exhibiting this year in Hall 1, Stand B18.
The “Galerie Jeanne – Graphics & Designs” has been an important address for international, high-quality graphics and works on paper from the 20th century, classical modernism, pop art and contemporary art in Munich for 42 years. At the Galerie Jeanne stand at “art Karlsruhe”, collectors of high-quality art will find an expert selection of prints, monotypes, drawings, prints and other art techniques on the image medium of paper.
In 2024, the focus at the exhibition stand of the “Galerie Jeanne” from Munich will be on the works of Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró, Marc Chagall, Manolo Valdés, Damien Hirst and Andy Warhol.
The Munich gallery owner Jacqueline Hoffman is showing drawings, collages and high-quality graphics at the international art fair “art KARLSRUHE”.
