HANNOVER MESSE 2025 - Press Release: This year, a young company from Munich will receive the coveted HERMES Startup AWARD. The founders impressed the independent jury headed by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Holger Hanselka, President of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, with an intelligent energy management solution. The award was presented by Cem Özdemir, Federal Minister of Education and Research, during the ceremonial opening of HANNOVER MESSE on March 30, 2025. With the HERMES Startup AWARD, Deutsche Messe annually honors a company that is no older than five years and whose product or solution demonstrates a particularly high degree of technological innovation.

The award-winning ecoplanet Cockpit product is an AI-powered platform.
It enables companies to analyze their energy consumption in real time, make optimal use of dynamic tariffs, and maximize the integration of renewable energies.
The platform helps companies reduce their energy costs by up to 20 percent while significantly reducing their CO2 emissions. Furthermore, this comprehensive approach enables the automation of energy monitoring, procurement processes, and grid tariff optimization.
