The Neuburg an der Donau State Gallery is the only one of the 12 branch galleries of the Bavarian State Painting Collections that exclusively presents Flemish Baroque paintings.

Neuburg an der Donau. This is a must-see in Bavaria! Neuburg an der Donau Palace is a truly magnificent palace complex and was commissioned as the residential palace of the Principality of Palatinate-Neuburg, founded in 1505, by Count Palatine Ottheinrich (1502-1559), the first sovereign of the small principality—he later became Elector Palatine. Rubens, Brueghel, van Balen, Jordaens, and Snyders are exhibited at the Neuburg an der Donau State Gallery. Anyone who wants to see these unique works this summer should take advantage of the next 10 days and plan a visit to Neuburg. It is an opportunity to experience this State Gallery, the only one of the 12 branch galleries of the Bavarian State Painting Collections that exclusively displays Flemish Baroque paintings, once again before its temporary closure.

Anyone who wants to see the unique collection of the Neuburg an der Donau State Gallery

• with the monumental altarpieces of the "Adoration of the Shepherds" and the "Drip-Out of the Holy Spirit" by Peter Paul Rubens,
• the detailed depictions of the "Four Seasons" by Jan Brueghel the Elder and Hendrik van Balen,

• Starting August 25, 2025, the Neuburg an der Donau State Gallery will be closed for several weeks due to construction work.

• Starting November 15, 2025, the Neuburg State Gallery will reopen to the public.

Die Staatsgalerie Neuburg an der Donau ist die einzige der 12 Filialgalerien der Bayerischen Staatsgemäldesammlungen, die ausschließlich der Flämischen Barockmalerei präsentiert

25. August bis zum 14. November 2025: temporäre Schließung der Staatsgalerie Neuburg an der Donau wegen baulicher Maßnahmen

Neuburg an der Donau. Schloss Neuburg an der Donau ist eine gar prächtige Schlossanlage und wurde als Residenzschloss des 1505 gegründeten Fürstentums Pfalz-Neuburg von Pfalzgraf Ottheinrich (1502-1559), dem ersten Landesfürsten des kleinen Fürstentums - er wurde später Kurfürst von der Pfalz - in Auftrag gegeben. In der Staatsgalerie Neuburg a. d. Donau werden Rubens, Brueghel, van Balen, Jordaens und Snyders ausgestellt. Wer diese einmaligen Werke in diesem Sommer noch sehen möchte, sollte die nächsten 10 Tage nutzen und einen Besuch Neuburgs einplanen. Es ist die Gelegenheit, diese Staatsgalerie, die als einzige von insgesamt 12 Filialgalerien der Bayerischen Staatsgemäldesammlungen ausschließlich der Flämischen Barockmalerei zeigt, vor der temporären Schließung noch einmal zu erleben.

Wer die einmalige Sammlung der Staatsgalerie Neuburg an der Donau

•  mit den monumentalen Altarbildern mit der „Anbetung der Hirten“ und der „Ausgießung des Heiligen Geistes“ von Peter Paul Rubens,
• die detaillierten Schilderungen der „Vier Jahreszeiten“ von Jan Brueghel d. Ä. und Hendrik van Balen,

• Ab dem 25. August 2025 wird die Staatsgalerie Neuburg a. d. Donau anlässlich einer baulichen Maßnahme für einige Wochen nicht zugänglich sein. 
• Ab dem 15. November 2025 ist die Staatsgalerie Neuburg für das Publikum wieder geöffnet.

Ogni visitatore di Monaco dovrebbe aver visto Königsplatz e l'area artistica - e il museo è un posto meraviglioso per rilassarsi con l'arte di prima classe

Monaco. Il nuovo anno si avvicina velocemente, quindi dovresti comunque programmare una visita a un museo: se ti trovi a Monaco in questi giorni, dovresti concederti una pausa in uno dei grandi musei della città. Quasi ogni casa ha anche un bar dove rilassarsi e un negozio del museo che offre qualcosa da portare a casa con piccoli souvenir per chi resta a casa o cataloghi di mostre e collezioni. La Pinacoteca nel quartiere artistico della Maxvorstadt di Monaco fa parte delle Collezioni statali bavaresi di pittura - così come la Collezione Schack - e riunisce le collezioni d'arte più rinomate a livello mondiale.  Di seguito li presentiamo brevemente e mostriamo il programma espositivo delle case per la fine dell'anno e per gennaio 2025. In quanto quartiere dei musei di Monaco, l'area artistica offre una cultura espositiva diversificata che ogni turista avrebbe dovuto vedere. Il quartiere Maxvorstadt con la Pinacoteca e numerose gallerie d'arte è facilmente raggiungibile da Königsplatz di Monaco (fermata U2 o autobus 100).

La Pinakothek der Moderne 

La Pinakothek der Moderne nel quartiere artistico di Monaco, sulla Barer Straße, è stata inaugurata più di 20 anni fa e unisce quattro musei in uno. Qui sono esposte opere dai campi dell'arte, della grafica, dell'architettura e del design: questo museo è una delle più grandi collezioni d'Europa.

La Neue Pinakothek di Monaco 

Questo museo d'arte europea del XIX secolo si trova nel quartiere artistico di Monaco. La Neue Pinakothek mostra opere che, dal punto di vista storico, si collocano tra le collezioni principali dell'Alte Pinakothek con i suoi antichi maestri e della Pinakothek der Moderne con l'arte del XX e XXI secolo

La Neue Pinakothek sarà probabilmente completamente rinnovata entro il 2029. Parte della collezione è attualmente esposta nella Alte Pinakothek (vedi elenco delle mostre di seguito).

L'Alte Pinakothek di Monaco

L'Alte Pinakothek riunisce più di 700 dipinti di famosi maestri antichi, tra cui opere di Albrecht Dürer, Rembrandt, Albrecht Altdorfer, Sandro Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Raffaello, Tiziano e Peter Paul Rubens. I capolavori della storia dell'arte sono esposti in oltre 19 sale e 47 gabinetti, tra l'altro, in mostre temporanee (vedi elenco delle mostre sotto).

 La collezione Schack 

La Collezione Schack (situata nel quartiere di Lehel) ospita una rinomata collezione di dipinti e fa parte delle Collezioni statali di pittura della Baviera. La collezione del conte Adolf Friedrich von Schack riunisce dipinti di noti pittori del XIX secolo.

Every visitor to Munich should have seen Königsplatz and the art area - and the museum is a wonderful place to relax with top-class art

Munich. The New Year is fast approaching, so you should still plan a visit to a museum: If you are in Munich these days, you should treat yourself to a break in one of the city's large museums. Almost every house also has a coffee place to relax and a museum shop that offers something to take home with small souvenirs for those staying at home or exhibition and collection catalogs. The Pinakotheks in the art area of ​​Munich's Maxvorstadt are part of the Bavarian State Painting Collections - as is the Schack Collection - and bring together the most renowned art collections worldwide.  We briefly introduce them below and show the exhibition program of the houses at the end of the year and for January 2025. As Munich's museum district, the art area offers a diverse exhibition culture that every tourist should have seen. The Maxvorstadt district with the Pinakotheks and numerous art galleries can be easily reached from Munich's Königsplatz (stop U2 or bus 100).

The Pinakothek der Moderne

The Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich's art area - on Barer Straße - was opened over 20 years ago and combines four museums in one. Works from the fields of art, graphics, architecture and design are shown here - this museum is one of the largest collection houses in Europe.

The Neue Pinakothek in Munich

This museum of 19th century European art is located in the Munich art area. The Neue Pinakothek shows works that, in terms of history, lie between the core collections of the Alte Pinakothek with its Old Masters and the Pinakothek der Moderne with the art of the 20th and 21st centuries

The Neue Pinakothek will probably be completely renovated by 2029. Part of the collection is currently on display in the Alte Pinakothek (see exhibition list below).

The Alte Pinakothek in Munich

Der Königsplatz und das Kunstareal sollte jeder München-Besucher gesehen haben - und im Museum lässt es sich wunderbar und bei hochkarätiger Kunst entspannen

München. Das Neue Jahr naht mit großen Schritten, da sollte man doch noch einen Museumsbesuch einplanen: Wer dieser Tage in München ist, sollte sich eine Auszeit in einer der großen Museen der Stadt gönnen. Fast jedes Haus hat auch ein Kaffee zum ausruhen und einen Museumsshop, der mit kleinen Mitbringsel für Daheimgebliebene oder auch mit Ausstellungs- und Sammlungskatalogen etwas zum Mitnehmen bietet. Die Pinakotheken im Kunstareal der Münchner Maxvorstadt gehören zu den Bayerischen Staatsgemäldesammlungen - ebenso wie die Sammlung Schack - und vereinen die renommiertesten Kunstsammlungen weltweit.  Wir stellen sie unten kurz vor und zeigen das Ausstellungsprogramm der Häuser zum Jahresende und für den Januar 2025, Das Kunstareals bietet als Museumsquartier von München eine vielfältige Ausstellungskultur, die jeder Tourist gesehen haben sollte. Das Stadtviertel Maxvorstadt mit den Pinakotheken und zahlreichen Kunstgalerien ist vom Münchner Königsplatz  (Haltestelle U2 oder Bus 100) aus gut zu erreichen.

Die Pinakothek der Moderne 

Die Pinakothek der Moderne  im Kunstareal Münchens - an der Barer Straße - wurde vor über 20 Jahren eröffnet und vereint vier  Museen in einem. Gezeigt werden hier Werke aus den Bereichen Kunst, Graphik, Architektur sowie Design - dieses Museum gehört zu den  größten Sammlungshäusern Europas.

Die Neue Pinakothek in München 

Dieses Museum der europäischen Kunst des 19. Jahrhunderts findet sich im Münchener Kunstareal. In der Neuen Pinakothek werden Werke gezeigt, die zeitgeschichtlich zwischen die Schwerpunktsammlungen der Alten Pinakothek mit ihren Alten Meistern und der Pinakothek der Moderne mit der die Kunst des 20. und 21. Jahrhunderts liegen

Bis voraussichtlich 2029 wird die Neue Pinakothek grundlegend saniert. Ein Teil der Sammlung wird zurzeit in der Alten Pinakothek gezeigt (Ausstellungsliste siehe unten).

Die Alte Pinakothek in München

Die Alte Pinakothek vereint mehr als 700 Gemälde berühmter Alter Meister - darunter Werke von Albrecht Dürer, Rembrandt, Albrecht Altdorfer, Sandro Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Raffael, Tizian und Peter Paul Rubens. In über 19 Sälen sowie 47 Kabinetten werden die Meisterwerke der Kunstgeschichte unteranderem in Sonderausstellungen (Ausstellungsliste siehe unten).

 Die Sammlung Schack 

Die Sammlung Schack (sie liegt im Stadtteil Lehel) beherbergt eine renommierte Gemäldesammlung und gehört zu den Bayerischen Staatsgemäldesammlungen ist. Die Sammlung des Grafen Adolf Friedrich von Schack vereint Gemälde bekannter Maler des 19. Jahrhunderts.
