Munich in summer is a festival! ... from August 9th to 25th, 2024 ... In addition to the live music in the Theatron, there are Bavarian and international gastro stands and even a wonderfully located beach bar in the popular Olympic Park. Let's start with relaxation: the Italian beach bar and restaurant take care of your physical well-being, you can sunbathe in deck chairs, enjoy refreshing cocktails and experience Bella Italia in Munich.  DJs provide entertainment music in the Capri beach bar, which was set up on the peninsula in Lake Olympia. Fireworks on August 23rd at 10pm...

At one location on the festival grounds, the popular Hans-Jochen-Vogel-Platz, Bavarian delicacies and international cuisine delight visitors

And there are various focal points on the weekends, such as the Bavaria Weekend, where Dachshund Sunday also marks a day for Waldi the dachshund, the first mascot of the Olympic Games. This Sunday, August 11, 2024, the popular Dachshund Day will take place again: visitors will meet dachshunds with their owners and have fun as well as the dogs, for whom a dog-friendly program has been devised.

There are rides and various gaming activities

Children's Day

•     On Tuesdays, i.e. August 13th and August 20th, the holiday children are happy
•     about reduced prices
•     Daily games are available in the Small Olympic Hall - i.e. on the roof.

We reported on the free concerts on the lake stage! The Theatron Music Summer takes place from 2024, August 8th to 25th, daily from 7 p.m.

Weekend program at the Munich Summer Festival

    9th-11th August:

    Bavarian Culture Weekend - program with traditional costumes, folk dancing and horse-drawn carriages
     on Sunday Dachshund Day - Bavarian dachshunds are welcome and are the focus! Caretaker Krause wasn't the first to confess: everything for the dachshund, everything for the dog! No, the instructing Bavarian dachshund owners also show their colors - or rather their dachshund. There is the popular dog parkour, various things for dog needs and a lovely dachshund-master-mistress walk across the Olympic Park,

   15th-18th August:  

    Weekend for self-made people and craft presentations - there are workshops and entertaining craft and hands-on stands


    23rd-25th August:  

    Weekend of health - let's take care of body & mind - beauty and holistic health in general - your body will thank you!

In München wird im Sommer gefeiert! Es herrscht Volksfeststimmung mit Live-Musik, Fahrgeschäften, Trachtentag und Dackel-Day, Schmankerlständen und Feuerwerk

München im Sommer ist ein Festival! ... vom 9. bis 25. August 2024 ... Neben der Live-Musik im Theatron gibt es bayerische und internationale Gastro-Standl und sogar eine wunderbar gelegene Strandbar im beliebten Olympiapark. Fangen wir mit der Entspannung an: die italienische Strandbar samt Gastronomie sorgt für das leibliche Wohl, man kann sich in Liegestühlen sonnen, erfrischende Cocktails genießen und in München Bella Italia erleben.  DJs sorgen in der Strandbar Capri, die  auf der Halbinsel im Olympiasee aufgebaut wurde, für Unterhaltungsmusik. An einem Ort des Festivalgeländes, dem beliebten Hans-Jochen-Vogel-Platz erfreuen bayerische Schmankerl und internationale Küche die Besucher

Und es gibt an den Wochenenden diverse Schwerpunkte, wie das Bayern Wochenende, an welchem mit dem Dackel-Sonntag auch dem Dackel Waldi, dem ersten Maskottchen der Olympischen Spiele, ein Tag gesetzt wird. An diesem Sonntag, dem 11. August 2024, findet wieder der beliebte Dackel-Day statt : Besucher treffen auf Dackel samt Frauchen und Herrchen und amüsieren sich ebenso wie die Hunde, für die ein hundefreundliches Programm erdacht wurde.

Livemusik im Theatron und Feuerwerk

Wir berichteten über die Gratis-Konzerte auf der Seebühne! Der Theatron-Musikommer findet vom 8. bis 25. August, täglich ab 19 Uhr statt.

• Feuerwerk am 23. August um 22 Uhr über dem schönen Olympiasee

Wochenendprogramm beim Münchner Sommerfestivals 

    9.-11. August: 

• Wochenende der Bayerischen Kultur - Programm mit Trachten, Volkstanz und Pferdegespannen
•  am Sonntag Dackel-Day - bayerische Dackel sind willkommen und stehen im Mittelpunkt! Nicht erst Hausmeister Krause bekannte sich: alles für den Dackel, alles für den Hund! Nein auch die anweisenden bayerischen Dackehalter zeigen Flagge - bzw. ihren Dackel. Es gibt den beliebten Hundeparkours, diverses für den Hundebedarf und einen schönen Dackel-Herrchen-Frauchen-Sparziergang einmal quer durch den Olympiapark,
  

   15.-18. August:  

• Wochenende für Selfmade-Leute und Kunsthandwerkpräsentationen - es gibt  Workshops und kurzweilige Bastel- bzw. Mitmach-Stände

    23.-25. August:  

• Wochenende der Gesundheit - kümmern wir uns einmal um Body & Mind -  um Beauty und überhaupt um die ganzheitliche Gesundheit - der Körper wird es danken!
