His photo exhibition presents a multifaceted portrait of the United States through two bodies of work: Dunas captures people across the States in everyday situations. Spanning several decades, the exhibited photographs come from the *American Pictures* series and were taken where people live—amidst the daily life of cities and rural areas. The subjects tell stories of hopes, ruptures, and new beginnings. The exhibition also focuses on the blues: the *State of the Blues* series chronicles a musical tradition through black-and-white portraits of key figures. The blues is more than just music; it represents cultural innovation and resilience.
