The Metallica highlight of 2026: The metal band Metallica will rock The Sphere at The Venetian Resort – the large, spherical multi-purpose arena "The Sphere" is located east of The Venetian Resort Hotel near the Las Vegas Strip (Nevada, USA). Tickets are now available for Metallica's shows on October 1st and 3rd, 15th and 17th, 22nd and 24th, and 29th and 31st, 2026. As announced by the US magazine Rolling Stone nearly 20 hours ago, the metal band will be building on their successful 2023 M72 world tour and will be holding "No Repeat Weekends" shows: no song will be played twice during the Thursday and Saturday concerts of a given weekend.

Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich is already looking forward to the Sphere, which has already been used by U2.

"About 12 seconds into the opening night of the Sphere with U2 in 2023, I thought: 'We have to do this, this is completely new territory!'" Ulrich is quoted as saying in the US magazine "Rolling Stone," among others.

With the immersive technology of the Sphere, the 360-degree view, light, and soundscape will likely shatter all previous dimensions of a metal concert! The Eagles, the Backstreet Boys, and No Doubt have already experienced this Sphere dome in Las Vegas.

Das Metallica-Highlight des Jahres 2026: Die Metal-Band Metallica wird die Sphere at The Venetian Resort metallisieren - die große kugelförmige Mehrzweckhalle "Sphere" befindet sich östlich des Venetian Resort Hotels nahe dem Las Vegas Strip (US-Bundesstaat Nevada). Ab sofort können Karten für die Metallica-Shows am 1. und 3. Oktober, am 15. und 17., dem 22. und 24. sowie am 29. und 31. Oktober 2026 geordert werden. Wie das us-amerikanische Rolling Stone Magazine vor knapp 20 Stunden verkündete wird die Metal-Band hiermit auf die erfolgreiche M72-Welttournee 2023 setzen und sogenannte "No Repeat Weekends"-Shows veranstalten: bei den Donnerstag- und Samstagskonzerten eines Wochenendes wird keiner der Songs doppelt gespielt.

Metallica-Drummer Lars Ulrich freut sich schon auf die Sphere, die von U2 bereits bespielt wurde

"Etwa 12 Sekunden nach Beginn der Eröffnungsnacht der Sphere von U2 im Jahr 2023 dachte ich: 'Das müssen wir machen, das ist völliges Neuland!'", wird Ulrich unter anderem im US-amerikanischen "Rolling Stone" zitiert. 

In der immersiven Technik der Sphere wird die 360 Grad-Sicht, Licht- und Akustikwelt vermutlich alle Dimensionen eines Metal-Konzerts sprengen! Dieses Erlebnis in der Kuppel SPHERE in Las Vegas haben bislang schon die Eagles, die Backstreet Boys und No Doubt.

A great idea for a company party...

Munich. It was a comfortable 9 degrees today and so there were many visitors to the Tollwood Winter Festival on Munich's Theresienwiese. At first we were able to take press photos, but then it became too crowded. There is a great atmosphere and the stalls are glittering. There's even curling, a selfie point with a silver-pink glittery unicorn Pegasus in the background and lots of culinary delights. It smelled delicious and amazed us at many of the stands - more about that soon... Here for today are our photo impressions from November 26th - at around 4:30 p.m. - on the Tollwood grounds. For example, there are 2 curling rinks that were well used and enthusiastic people cheering about their successes. A great idea for a company party...
