The program of the 25th Long Night of Munich Museums

1.     the European Patent Office provides exclusive insights into its collection of diverse contemporary art;
2.     the Sudeten German Museum presents an impressive light installation,
3.     The House of the German East explains the “German Minority in Romania” in its current exhibition
4.     The State Archaeological Collection presents its important finds, including artifacts from prehistory and early history.
5.     At Galerie Handwerk, weaving becomes an experience and invites you to try it out.
6.     The Church of St. Andreas becomes a “Mysterious Garden” through a light installation.
7.     The Five Continents Museum is sponsoring this year's poster motif and serves as a source of inspiration for intercultural topics and artistic discussions.
8.     The Munich fire brigade exhibition takes you into the history of urban fire protection.
9.     The WOW Museum was recently added to the program, where an interactive world of optical illusions and creative installations can be explored.

The special program for the anniversary night is the curated exploration tour through Munich

Das Programm der 25.  Langen Nacht der Münchner Museen

1. das Europäische Patentamt gewährt exklusive Einblicke in ihre Sammlung verschiedenster zeitgenössischer Kunst;

2. das Sudetendeutsche Museum präsentiert eine beeindruckende Lichtinstallation,

3. das Haus des Deutschen Ostens klärt in ihrer aktuellen Ausstellung über „Deutsche Minderheit in Rumänien“ auf

4. die Archäologische Staatssammlung ihre bedeutenden Funde, darunter Artefakte aus der Vor- und Frühgeschichte.

5. Bei der Galerie Handwerk wird Weben zum Erlebnis und lädt zum Ausprobieren ein.

6. Die Kirche St. Andreas wird durch eine Lichtinstallation zum „Geheimnisvollen Garten“.

7. Das Museum Fünf Kontinente stiftet das diesjährige Plakatmotiv und dient als Inspirationsquelle für interkulturelle Themen und künstlerische Auseinandersetzungen.

8. Die Münchner Feuerwehrausstellung entführt in die Geschichte des städtischen Brandschutzes.

9. Kurzfristig zum Programm hinzugestoßen ist das WOW Museum, in dem eine interaktive Welt der optischen Täuschungen und kreativen Installationen erkundet werden kann.

MVG macht mit - Mobilität wird zum Erlebnis

Die MVG-Shuttlebusse machen die Lange Nacht der Münchner Museen zur mobilen

Entdeckungsreise. Auf fünf Routen kann man sich durch die Stadt chauffieren lassen.

Doch auf zwei zusätzlichen Linien wird die Fahrt selbst zum Erlebnis:

• In nostalgischen Oldtimerbussen geht es stilecht zum MVG Museum, in dem die Vergangenheit lebendig wird.

• Im Rollenden Museum werden die Oldtimer zur Bühne, während sie zwischen dem Deutschen Museum auf der Museumsinsel und dem Deutschen Museum Verkehrszentrum an der Theresienhöhe hin- und herfahren.

Munich. Lors de la Journée internationale des musées 2024, les musées de toute l’Allemagne seront pour la plupart ouverts avec entrée gratuite. De nombreux musées munichois proposent des visites spéciales, des extras pour les enfants et des conférences ou organisent même des fêtes. Aujourd’hui, vous pouvez jeter un « coup d’œil dans les coulisses » des musées. Les musées de Munich proposent de nombreuses visites guidées le dimanche de Pentecôte, le 19 mai, avec entrée gratuite ou tarif bon marché le dimanche. Le Musée d'Art Urbain et Contemporain (MUCA)

Le MUCA occupe désormais une place permanente dans le monde des musées munichois. C'est la première salle d'exposition en Allemagne à donner de la place au street art et à l'art urbain. Avec environ 1 200 œuvres en stock, il permettra de nombreuses expositions. L'exposition spéciale actuelle "Damien Hirst - Le poids des choses" présente le monde artistique de Hirst, qui s'étend aujourd'hui sur 40 ans, à travers des installations, des sculptures et des peintures.

Musée national d'art égyptien

Le dimanche au Musée égyptien de l'espace artistique propose, entre autres, des ateliers pour enfants : "Le secret des hiéroglyphes" (10h30 - 12h00) et les plus petits peuvent également découvrir le "Monde égyptien antique des dieux". " en confectionnant des masques de dieux (13h-14h30). .

Ici, les visiteurs peuvent en apprendre davantage sur la ville royale de Naga au Soudan (conférence à partir de 15h).

Le Musée égyptien propose également, entre autres, des visites numériques et des cours de hiéroglyphes.

Musée national bavarois – art et histoire culturelle de l’Europe

Mais que serait un dimanche de musée sans l'art européen, du début du Moyen Âge à l'Art nouveau.

Le Musée national bavarois a été fondé en 1855 par le roi Maximilien II. Vous y trouverez des sculptures, des peintures, des œuvres d'orfèvrerie et des sculptures en ivoire, ainsi que de la porcelaine, des costumes, des meubles historiques et des armes de toutes les époques. La collection montre la culture quotidienne de nos ancêtres. Un point culminant unique est la collection de crèches de renommée mondiale, qui comprend des figurines précieuses provenant de crèches de Naples, de Sicile et de sculpteurs de crèches de la région alpine.

Musée allemand de la chasse et de la pêche

Au centre-ville, entre la Marienplatz et l'Isartor, se trouve le Musée allemand de la chasse et de la pêche, qui illustre l'histoire de la chasse et de la pêche (en eau douce) jusqu'aux temps modernes. À partir de l’âge de pierre, on retrouve la taxidermie, toutes sortes d’armes et d’outils.

Kunsthalle de Munich dans le Fünf Höfe

Les créateurs de mode Viktor & Rolf ont écrit l'histoire du design avec leurs créations. Ses déclarations de mode ont été mises en scène par Madonna, Tilda Swinton et Lady Gaga. Des icônes distinctives de vêtements de créateurs, des croquis de conception et des exemples de photographies d'Andreas Gursky et Herb Ritts sont actuellement exposés (jusqu'au 6 octobre 2024).

Many Munich museums offer special tours, extras for children and lectures or even hold parties. Today you can take a “look behind the scenes” in museums. Munich museums are offering numerous guided tours on Whit Sunday, May 19th, with free admission or a cheap Sunday rate. The Museum of Urban and Contemporary Art (MUCA)

The MUCA now has a permanent place in the Munich museum world. It is the first exhibition hall in Germany to give space to street art and urban art. With around 1,200 works in stock, it will make many exhibitions possible. The current special exhibition "Damien Hirst - The Weight of Things" shows Hirst's art world, which now spans 40 years, through installations, sculptures and paintings.

State Museum of Egyptian Art

Bavarian National Museum – art and cultural history of Europe

But what would a museum Sunday be without European art from the early Middle Ages to Art Nouveau.

The Bavarian National Museum was founded in 1855 by King Maximilian II. Here you can find sculptures, paintings, goldsmiths' art and ivory carvings, as well as porcelain, costumes, historical furniture and weapons from all times. The collection shows the everyday culture of our ancestors. A unique highlight is the world-famous nativity collection, which includes precious figures from nativity makers in Naples, Sicily and nativity carvers from the Alpine region.

German Hunting and Fishing Museum

In the city center between Marienplatz and Isartor is the German Hunting and Fishing Museum, which illustrates the history of hunting and fishing (in freshwater) up to modern times. Starting from the Stone Age, we find taxidermy, all kinds of weapons and tools.

The fashion designers Viktor & Rolf have written design history with their designs. Her fashion statements were staged by Madonna, Tilda Swinton and Lady Gaga. München. Am  Internationalen Museumstag 2024 haben Museen in ganz Deutschland überwiegend bei freiem Eintritt geöffnet. Viele Münchner Museen bieten Sonderführungen, Extras für Kinder und Vorträge an oder feiern gar Feste. Heute kann man in den Museen mal einen "Blick hinter die Kulissen" wagen. Münchner Museen bieten am Pfingstsonntag, den 19. Mai, bei freien Eintritt bzw. zum günstigen Sonntagtarif zahlreiche Führungen an. Das MUCA hat inzwischen einen Festen Platz in der Münchner Museumswelt. Es ist das erste Ausstellungshaus Deutschlands, das der Street-Art und Urban-Art Raum gibt. Mit an die 1.200 Werken im Bestand wird es viele Ausstellungen möglich machen. Die derzeitige Sonderausstellung „Damien Hirst - The Weight of Things" zeigt die inzwischen 40 Jahre Schaffen umfassende Kunstwelt Hirsts anhand von Installationen, Plastiken und Gemälden.

Staatliches Museum Ägyptischer Kunst

Der Sonntag im Ägyptischen Museum im Kunstareal bietet unter anderem Kinderworkshops an: „Das Geheimnis der Hieroglyphen“ (10:30-12 Uhr) und auch die  „Altägyptischen Götterwelten“ können die Kleinen beim Göttermasken-Basteln (13-14:30 Uhr) kennenlernen.

Hier kann der Besucher übrigens mehr über die Königsstadt Naga im Sudan (Vortrag ab15 Uhr) erfahren.

Das Ägyptische Museum bietet übrigens unter anderem auch digigale Rundgänge oder auch  Hieroglyphenkurse an.

Bayerisches Nationalmuseum – Kunst- und Kulturgeschichte Europas

Doch was wäre ein Museumssonntag ohne europäische Kunst vom frühen Mittelalter bis zum Jugendstil.

Das Bayerische Nationalmuseum wurde 1855 von König Maximilian II. begründet. Hier findet man  Skulpturen, Gemälde, Goldschmiedekunst und auch Elfenbeinschnitzereien, aber auch Porzellan, Kostüme, historische Möbel und Waffen aus allen Zeiten. Die Sammlung zeigt die Alltagskultur unserer Vorfahren. Ein einmaliges Highlight ist die weltweit berühmte Krippensammlung, die kostbare Figuren der Krippenmacher Neapels, Siziliens oder auch der Krippenschnitzer aus dem Alpenraum beinhaltet.

Deutsches Jagd- und Fischereimuseum

In der Innenstadt zwischen Marienplatz und Isartor findet sich das Deutsches Jagd- und Fischereimuseum, das die Geschichte der Jagd und der Fischerei (im Süßwasser)  bis zur Neuzeit anschaulich macht. Von der Steinzeit angefangen finden wir  Tierpräparate, allerlei Waffen und Werkzeuge.

Ausgeprägte Ikonen der Designer-Kleidung, Entwurfsskizzen und Beispiele der Photokunst von Andreas Gursky oder Herb Ritts werden zurzeit ausgestellt (noch bis 6. Oktober 2024).

Im Museumsareal rund um die Alte Pinakothek kann man übrigens von Museum zu Museum schlendern

 

Die Alte Pinakothek  – Europäische Malerei vom 14. bis 18. Jahrhundert

zeigt kostbare, einmalige Kunstwerke von Albrecht Dürer, Peter Paul Rubens, Leonardo Da Vinci und viele weitere Kostbarkeiten.

Städtische Galerie im Lenbachhaus und Kunstbau

Im Lenbachhaus darf man heute mal hinter die Kulissen schauen und wird noch bis 13 Uhr kostenfrei durch das Museum geführt (circa 30 Minuten - Kostenlos)
