Experience icons of automotive history live: eight Italian Lamborghini legends are currently on display in Wolfsburg

Wolfsburg - May 1, 2025. The Autostadt in Wolfsburg is now presenting a piece of automotive history. A must-see for sports car and design fans: eight extraordinary Lamborghini vehicles – six of them from the Zeithaus's own collection. A special feature of the exhibition on the upper floor of the Zeithaus is the collaboration with the Lamborghini Museum in Sant'Agata Bolognese, which is taking place for the first time in this context. The Italian museum represents the living heart of the brand. It was founded in 1963 and showcases the vision of Ferruccio Lamborghini right up to the high-tech super sports cars of today.

Lamborghinis are icons of automotive history

In addition to these two Lambo classics on loan, six models of the brand will be presented:
The museum has loaned the two models from Italy to Wolfsburg:

• Aventador – remember: the Aventador set the lap record for production vehicles on the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 2018;
• and Gallardo Squadra – the Gallardo is Lamborghini's best-selling vehicle.

 

 The exhibition also includes:

• the very first automobile produced by Lamborghini, dating back to 1966: the Lamborghini 350 GT (GRAN TURISMO) – the engine with four overhead camshafts was previously only found in racing cars. The Touring patent design and all aluminum parts ensured a lightweight body. It was available as a two- and three-seater (two in the front and one in the middle);
• the Lamborghini Miura, the brand's first supercar – the design was created by Marcello Gandini for Bertone;
• the Lamborghini Countach LP 400 – one of the fastest road-legal vehicles in the 1970s;
• and the Lamborghini Diablo GT, the brand's first all-wheel-drive supercar – a production model whose shape and appearance are reminiscent of a hypercar. There is also the Revuelto from Lamborghini
• and the Urus SE, the SUV from Lamborghini

Lamborghini's design history and fascination range from the elegant lines of these classic icons to high-performance models. With this exhibition, the Zeithaus is also signaling its commitment to presenting a vibrant experience alongside automotive history.

Wolfsburg – 1° maggio 2025. L'Autostadt di Wolfsburg presenta ora un pezzo di storia dell'automobile. Un must per gli appassionati di auto sportive e di design: otto eccezionali vetture Lamborghini, sei delle quali provenienti dalla collezione privata della Zeithaus. Una particolarità della mostra al piano superiore dello Zeithaus è la collaborazione con il Museo Lamborghini di Sant’Agata Bolognese, che si svolge per la prima volta in questo contesto. Il museo italiano è il cuore pulsante del brand. Fondata nel 1963, la mostra illustra la visione di Ferruccio Lamborghini fino alle supersportive high-tech di oggi.

Le Lamborghini sono icone della storia dell'automobile

Oltre a queste due classiche Lambo in prestito, saranno presentati sei modelli del marchio:
 

Il museo ha prestato a Wolfsburg i due modelli dall'Italia:

•     Aventador - ricordiamo: nel 2018 l'Aventador ha stabilito il record sul giro per le vetture di serie sul Nürburgring Nordschleife;
•     e Gallardo Squadra: la Gallardo è il veicolo più venduto della Lamborghini.

Inoltre, troviamo nella mostra

•     La prima automobile prodotta dalla Lamborghini fu la Lamborghini 350 GT (GRAN TURISMO) nel 1966: il motore con quattro alberi a camme in testa si trovava fino a quel momento solo nelle auto da corsa.  Il design brevettato Touring e tutte le parti in alluminio hanno garantito la leggerezza della carrozzeria. Era disponibile nelle versioni a due e tre posti (due davanti e uno al centro);
•     la Lamborghini Miura, la prima supersportiva della casa, il cui design fu ideato da Marcello Gandini per Bertone;
•     la Lamborghini Countach LP 400: è stata una delle vetture stradali più veloci degli anni '70;
•     e la Lamborghini Diablo GT, la prima supercar a trazione integrale del marchio, un modello di produzione la cui forma e aspetto ricordano quelli di un'hypercar;
•     C'è anche il Revuelto della Lamborghini;
•     e l'Urus SE, il SUV della Lamborghini.

 

La storia del design e il fascino di Lamborghini spaziano dalle linee eleganti di queste icone classiche ai modelli ad alte prestazioni. Con questa mostra, la Zeithaus lancia il segnale che non si limiterà a mettere in mostra la storia dell'automobile, ma offrirà anche un'esperienza vivace.

Wolfsburg - 1. Mai 2025. Die Autostadt in Wolfsburg präsentiert ab sofort ein Stück Automobilgeschichte. Ein Muss für Sportwagen- und Designfans: acht außergewöhnliche Fahrzeuge der Marke Lamborghini – sechs davon aus der eigenen Sammlung des Zeithauses. Eine große Besonderheit der Ausstellung im Obergeschoss des Zeithauses ist die Kooperation mit dem Lamborghini Museum in Sant’Agata Bolognese, die erstmals in diesem Rahmen stattfindet. Das italienische Museum bildet das lebendige Herz der Marke. Es wurde 1963 gegründet. Gezeigt wird die Vision von Ferruccio Lamborghini bis zu den Hightech-Supersportwagen der heutigen Zeit.

Lamborghini sind Ikonen der Automobilgeschichte

Neben diesen beiden Leihgaben Lambo-Klassikern werden sechs Modelle der Marke präsentiert: 

Das Museum hat die zwei Modelle aus Italien nach Wolfsburg ausgeliehen: 

• Aventador - wir erinnern uns: der Aventador stellte 2018 den Rundenrekord für Serienfahrzeuge auf der Nürburgring-Nordschleife auf;
• und Gallardo Squadra - der Gallardo ist das meistverkaufte Fahrzeug des Hauses Lamborghini.
  

Ferner finden wir in der Ausstellung

• das allererste von Lamborghini produzierte Automobil aus dem Jahr 1966: der Lamborghini 350 GT (GRAN TURISMO) - der  Motor mit vier oben liegenden Nockenwellen war bis dahin nur bei Rennwagen zu finden.  Das Touring-Patent-Design sowie alle Aluminiumteile sorgten für die leichte Karosserie. Es gab ihn als Zwei- und Dreisitzer (zwei vorne und einer in der Mitte);

• der Lamborghini Miura, der erste Supersportwagen der Marke - das Design wurde von Marcello Gandini für Bertone entworfen;
• der Lamborghini Countach LP 400 -  er gehörte in den 1970er Jahren zu den schnellsten straßenzugelassenen Fahrzeugen;
• und der Lamborghini Diablo GT, der erste Supersportwagen der Marke mit Allradantrieb - ein Serienmodell das durch Form und Optik an einen Hypercar erinnert;
• ferner gibt es den Revuelto von Lamborghini
• und den Urus SE, dem SUV von Lamborghini
  

Designgeschichte und die Faszination Lamborghini erstrecken sich von der eleganten Linienführung dieser klassischen Ikonen bis  zu  Hochleistungsmodellen. Das Zeithaus gibt mit dieser Ausstellung auch ein Signal neben der Automobilgeschichte auch ein lebendiges Erlebnis zu inszenieren.
