ANNIVERSARY FESTIVAL in Baden-Baden: 20 YEARS OF MUSEUM FRIEDER BURDA

 

On October 22nd, 20 years ago, the Frieder Burda Museum on Lichtentaler Allee in Baden-Baden opened its doors - now it's time to celebrate!!!

On OCTOBER 20, 2024, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. - FREE ENTRY to the MUSEUM FRIEDER BURDA

 

Baden-Baden. It is a 20-year success story that was created through a unique art collection and the great foundation of Frieder Burda. With the current exhibition, the Museum Frieder Burda is celebrating its big anniversary on October 20th. The current exhibition “I Feel the Earth Whisper” can be visited on October 20th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with free admission. In this blog we reported about the exhibition at this link (Ausstellung unter diesem Link.). The anniversary program offers creative workshops on the topics of nature and legends and a musical reading with the well-known actress Alexandra Kamp. We will experience a look behind the scenes of the museum and into the work of the exhibition organizers. There are exciting tours through the anniversary exhibition, lots of music to participate in and French specialties for the palate at the crepes stand or in the Café Kunsthalle.  In keeping with the spirit of the founder, Frieder Burda, the museum will become an open house for families and friends on October 20th.

The Frieder Burda Museum on Lichtentaler Allee opened its doors 20 years ago on October 22nd

 "In a long and intensive decision-making process, Frieder Burda chose the American star architect Richard Meier. Despite all the initial skepticism of the people of Baden-Baden, the radiant white building with its basic stereometric shapes fit harmoniously into the historic avenue. The enthusiasm for Meier's architecture continues to this day.

The museum was able to show over 50 successful exhibitions in its 20-year success story, which repeatedly attracted people from the city, the region and from all over the world to the museum and to Baden-Baden. Frieder Burda's collection today includes around 1,000 works of modern and contemporary sculptures, objects, works on paper and, above all, paintings and is one of the most important and qualitatively valuable private art collections in Europe." Baden-Baden. Il s'agit d'une histoire à succès de 20 ans qui a été créée grâce à une collection d'art unique et à la grande fondation de Frieder Burda. Avec l'exposition actuelle, le Musée Frieder Burda fête son grand anniversaire le 20 octobre. L'exposition actuelle « I Feel the Earth Whisper » peut être visitée le 20 octobre de 10h à 18h en entrée gratuite. Dans ce blog, nous avons rendu compte de l'exposition via ce lien = en allemand : Ausstellung unter diesem Link. Le programme anniversaire propose des ateliers créatifs sur les thèmes de la nature et des légendes ainsi qu'une lecture musicale avec la célèbre actrice Alexandra Kamp. Nous découvrirons les coulisses du musée et le travail des organisateurs de l'exposition. Il y a des visites passionnantes à travers l'exposition anniversaire, de nombreuses musiques auxquelles participer et des spécialités françaises pour le palais au stand de crêpes ou au Café Kunsthalle.  Fidèle à l'esprit de son fondateur Frieder Burda, le musée deviendra le 20 octobre une journée portes ouvertes pour les familles et les amis.

Le musée Frieder Burda de la Lichtentaler Allee a ouvert ses portes il y a 20 ans le 22 octobre

 "Au terme d'un processus de décision long et intensif, Frieder Burda a choisi l'architecte vedette américain Richard Meier. Malgré tout le scepticisme initial des habitants de Baden-Baden, le bâtiment blanc rayonnant avec ses formes stéréométriques fondamentales s'intègre harmonieusement dans l'avenue historique. L'enthousiasme pour l'architecture de Meier se poursuit encore aujourd'hui.

Au cours de ses 20 années de réussite, le musée a pu présenter plus de 50 expositions réussies, qui ont attiré à plusieurs reprises des personnes de la ville, de la région et du monde entier vers le musée et à Baden-Baden. La collection de Frieder Burda comprend aujourd'hui environ 1 000 œuvres de sculptures modernes et contemporaines, d'objets, d'œuvres sur papier et surtout de peintures et constitue l'une des collections d'art privées les plus importantes et qualitativement les plus précieuses d'Europe. Baden-Baden. Es ist eine  20-jährige Erfolgsgeschichte, die durch eine einzigartige Kunstsammlung und die großartige Stiftung von Frieder Burda entstand. Mit der  aktuellen Ausstellung feiert das Museum Frieder Burda am 20. Oktober seinen großen Jubiläumstag. Die derzeitige Ausstellung „I Feel the Earth Whisper“ kann am 20. Oktober von 10 bis 18 Uhr bei freiem Eintritt besucht werden. In diesem Blog berichteten wir über die Ausstellung unter diesem Link. Das Jubiläumsprogramm bietet kreative Workshops rund um die Themen der Natur und Sagen und eine musikalische Lesung mit der bekannten Schauspielerin Alexandra Kamp. Erleben werden wir Blicke hinter die Kulissen des Museums und in die Arbeit der Ausstellungsmacher. Es gibt spannende Führungen durch die Jubiläumsausstellung, viel Musik zum Mitmachen und für den Gaumen französische Spezialitäten am Crêpes-Stand oder im Café Kunsthalle.  Ganz im Sinne des Stifters, Frieder Burda, wird am 20. Oktober das Museum zum offnen Haus für Familien und Freunde.

Am 22. Oktober vor 20 Jahren öffnete das Museum Frieder Burda an der Lichtentaler Allee seine Türen

 "In einem langen und intensiven Entscheidungsprozess hatte Frieder Burda sich für den amerikanischen Stararchitekten Richard Meier entschieden. Trotz aller anfänglichen Skepsis der Baden-Badener fügte sich der strahlend weiße Bau mit seinen stereometrischen Grundformen harmonisch in die historische Allee ein. Die Begeisterung für die Architektur Meiers hält bis heute an.

Über 50 erfolgreiche Ausstellungen konnte das Museum in seiner 20-jährigen Erfolgsgeschichte zeigen, die immer wieder Menschen aus der Stadt, der Region wie aus aller Welt ins Museum und nach Baden-Baden lockten. Die Sammlung von Frieder Burda umfasst heute rund 1000 Werke moderner und zeitgenössischer Skulpturen, Objekte, Arbeiten auf Papier und vor allem Gemälde und zählt zu den bedeutendsten und qualitativ wertvollsten privaten Kunstsammlungen Europas."
