Wolfsburg. The day has finally arrived!
Volkswagen fans have waited a long time for a small electric vehicle featuring the quintessential Volkswagen look. With the Polo—a model that has always enjoyed a dedicated following—the transition to electric technology becomes both more affordable and more distinctive, thanks to a cost-effective, popular model that embodies the classic VW spirit. Starting today, visitors to the Volkswagen Pavilion at the Autostadt Wolfsburg can admire, step into, and sit inside the new ID. Polo. This marks the first time the production model has been showcased outside of the Volkswagen factory. With this major unveiling, the Group is launching directly into the order phase, offering the base version of the ID. Polo at a price of 24,995 euros. According to information provided to the press, Volkswagen plans to introduce additional powertrain and equipment variants later this summer.

The new ID. Polo is Volkswagen’s all-electric entry-level model


Developed in Wolfsburg, it is the first production model to fully embrace the new "Pure Positive" design language, and it is instantly recognizable as a genuine Volkswagen—both inside and out. Despite its compact exterior dimensions, the ID. Polo offers space for five people plus luggage.

With an output of up to 155 kW (211 hp) and a range of up to 454 km, it is not merely a city car, but a fully-fledged, all-electric companion for both everyday life and leisure.

Rather than sporting its iconic, colorful camouflage wrap, the production model is now presented in elegant Magnetic Grey Metallic

With the exhibition of the ID. Polo Style, the Autostadt once again underscores its role as a communication platform and a showcase for innovations from the Volkswagen Group.

At the Volkswagen Pavilion
