Munich. Theatron Music Summer means experiencing live concerts in the Olympic Park's amphitheater. Running alongside the ongoing summer festival, daily concerts are held here until August 22, 2026—admission is free! The lakeside stage—which seats 1,400 guests—hosts regional and international acts performing classical, pop, jazz, punk, rap, techno, indie, and world music. We have listed the program for the coming days below. Additionally, there is a holiday program for children on the morning of August 9 and fireworks on August 12. Food and drinks are available at the summer festival, and visitors are also permitted to bring their own. You can find the summer festival at Coubertinplatz (running until August 23) and the concert series by the Olympic Lake (running until August 22). Munich is celebrating! Monaco. Il Theatron Music Summer offre l'opportunità di assistere a concerti dal vivo nell'anfiteatro del Parco Olimpico. Nell'ambito del festival estivo in corso, qui si tengono concerti ogni giorno fino al 22 agosto 2026; l'ingresso è gratuito! Il palco in riva al lago – con una capienza di 1.400 posti a sedere – ospita artisti regionali e internazionali che spaziano tra musica classica, pop, jazz, punk, rap, techno, indie e world music. Di seguito è riportato il programma dei prossimi giorni. Inoltre, sono previsti un programma per bambini la mattina del 9 agosto e uno spettacolo pirotecnico il 12 agosto. Presso il festival estivo sono disponibili cibo e bevande, ma i visitatori possono anche portare i propri. Il festival estivo si svolge a Coubertinplatz (fino al 23 agosto), mentre la rassegna di concerti ha luogo sulle rive del Lago Olimpico (fino al 22 agosto). Monaco è in festa! Munich. Le « Theatron Music Summer », c'est l'occasion d'assister à des concerts dans l'amphithéâtre du Parc olympique. Dans le cadre du festival d'été, des concerts sont organisés chaque jour jusqu'au 22 août 2026 — l'entrée est gratuite ! La scène au bord du lac, qui peut accueillir 1 400 spectateurs, reçoit des artistes régionaux et internationaux proposant de la musique classique, pop, jazz, punk, rap, techno, indie et du monde. Vous trouverez ci-dessous le programme des prochains jours. Par ailleurs, un programme spécial pour les enfants est prévu le matin du 9 août, ainsi qu'un feu d'artifice le 12 août. De quoi se restaurer et boire est proposé sur place, mais les visiteurs sont également autorisés à apporter leur propre nourriture et leurs boissons. Le festival d'été se tient sur la Coubertinplatz (jusqu'au 23 août) et la série de concerts au bord du lac olympique (jusqu'au 22 août). Munich fait la fête ! Ludwigstrasse, between the Siegestor and Von-der-Tann-Strasse, will become a huge party hotspot for tens of thousands of guests from near and far who want to celebrate the New Year together in the heart of the Bavarian capital. ... ATTENTION: A ban on fireworks and firecrackers will be in effect again in Munich's city center for New Year's Eve 2025/2026: this applies from Stachus to Marienplatz and also at the Viktualienmarkt. The protected English Garden will also be protected from fireworks – fire safety and nature conservation reasons justify this measure.

The musical festival program

features four stages:

1. The main stage at the Siegestor (Victory Gate) offers catchy pop and party music, including performances by the urban brass band Moop Mama, Munich's number one party act Gerry & Gary, alphorn techno from Loisach Marci, and party DJ Mitja Lafere.
2. The "Local Voices" stage at Geschwister-Scholl-Platz provides a platform for singer-songwriters and local up-and-coming artists. Among the performers are the atmospheric sounds of the Munich all-female band Oh Theia, as well as Anna Apprezzato & Alex Volta.
3. The "Huber Beats" stage at Professor-Huber-Platz offers the finest hip-hop, curated by former Crux owner Tom Nothaft.
4. At the stage to the right of St. Ludwig's Church, fans of electronic dance music will be celebrating at "Ludwig Beats," featuring artists including Tonio Barrientos and PASCANI [PK1] [PK2] vølta x Pascale Luise. ...

Countdown to the New Year

...internationally active composer, sound artist, DJ, and music producer Benjamin "Beni" Brachtel will join the festivities. Like his colleague Singer, he works for the Munich Kammerspiele and the Bavarian State Theatre, among others. Together, they will conjure a captivating spectacle of lasers, light, sound, and building projections.

Lighting artists from Bavaria and Germany will illuminate the event space:

The lighting concept and its curation throughout the evening are by Matthias Singer. The light installation artist gained experience during his studies by creating lighting concepts for Munich clubs such as Bob Beaman, Kong, and Charlie. He soon began supporting bands and festivals with his art, until major German concert venues—such as the Ruhrtriennale, the Munich Kammerspiele, the Bavarian State Theatre, the Berlin State Opera, and the Hamburg Elbphilharmonie—as well as renowned design houses, commissioned him.

will be transformed by video designer, media artist, and VJ Benjamin Jantzen with a New Year's Eve Mile edition of his award-winning "Le Taxi Pour Les Galaxies."

At St. Ludwig Church, in cooperation with the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising,

the video, light, and media artists from We Are Video will also enrich the New Year's Eve Mile with a very special projection. Here, visitors can also launch virtual fireworks rockets made of light.

 

"Ludwigstrasse, the festival grounds, will be uniquely illuminated throughout the entire evening. Shortly before midnight, our visitors can look forward to a breathtaking light, video, and laser show the likes of which Munich has never seen before. We deliberately opted against fireworks. With this decision, the city is taking a pioneering role in environmentally friendly large-scale events, which, ideally, will set a precedent. An artistic light and laser show instead of fireworks, an evening without particulate matter emissions and the noise of firecrackers – this will be a sustainable experience without negative consequences for animals and the environment," says Alexander Wolfrum, Managing Director of the Munich event agency G.R.A.L. GmbH, adding: "Perhaps even more importantly: We will, of course, implement a comprehensive security concept with our partners. This way, everyone can celebrate safely."

A wide variety of food trucks and stalls, both large and small, will offer a rich selection for everyone who is thirsty and hungry, with a focus on regional dishes and ingredients from Bavaria.

Munich's New Year's Eve Mile 2025:

Above all, it will be a festively illuminated promenade and experience area with four different music stages and DJ decks, artistic light and video projections on the buildings, and a wide range of culinary offerings featuring international and Bavarian specialties. The diverse music program ranges from brass bands and cover bands, rock and pop music, hip-hop to techno – with many bands, musicians, and DJs from Munich, the region, and all over Bavaria.

München. Der  Jahreswechsel rückt näher. Knapp 4 Wochen beis Weihnachten und dann nur ein paar Tage bis Silvester. Da sollte man schon mal Tickets kaufen, wenn man auf der großen Münchner Silvestermeile dabei sein möchte. Die Vorbereitungen für die Silvestermeile München 2025 laufen auf Hochtouren. Die Ludwigstraße zwischen Siegestor und Von-der-Tann-Straße wird zum großen Feier-Treffpunkt für zehntausende Gäste aus Nah und Fern, die den Jahreswechsel gemeinsam im Herzen der bayerischen Landeshauptstadt feiern möchten. ... ACHTUNG: Zum Jahreswechsel 2025 / 2026 wird es in der Münchner Innnestadt  wieder ein Feuerwerk- und Böllerverbot geben: das gilt vom Stachus bis zum Marienplatz und auch auf dem Viktualienmarkt. Der schützenswerte Englische Garten soll ebenfalls von Feuerwerkskörpern geschützt werden -  Brandschutz- und aus Naturschutz begründen diese Maßnahme.

Das musikalische Festival-Programm

• Bei der Bühne „Huber Beats“ am Professor-Huber-Platz gibt es feinsten Hip-Hop auf die Ohren, kuratiert vom ehemaligen Crux-Betreiber Tom Nothaft. 
• An der Bühne rechts neben der Kirche St. Ludwig feiern Fans der Elektronischen Tanzmusik bei „Ludwig Beats“, u.a. mit Tonio Barrientos und PASCANI [PK1] [PK2] vølta x Pascale Luise. ...

... stimmt  der international tätige Komponist, Soundartist, DJ und Musikproduzent Benjamin ´Beni` Brachtel mit ein, der wie sein Kollege Singer u.a. für die Münchener Kammerspiele und das Bayerische Staatstheater tätig ist. Gemeinsam werden sie ein faszinierendes Spektakel aus Laser, Licht, Sound und Gebäudeprojektionen zaubern.

 

Münchens Prachtstraße in der Silvesternacht

Lichtkünstler aus Bayern und Deutschland lassen Veranstaltungsfläche leuchten:

Das Lichtkonzept und seine Kuratierung durch den Abend stammen von Matthias Singer. Der Licht-Installationskünstler verdingte sich bereits während seines Studiums mit Lichtkonzepten für Münchner Clubs wie dem Bob Beaman, Kong und Charlie, unterstützte alsbald mit seiner Kunst Bands und Festivals, bis die großen Konzerttempel Deutschlands – wie die Ruhrtriennale, die Münchner Kammerspielen und das Bayerische Staatstheater, die Staatsoper Berlin und die Hamburger Elbphilharmonie sowie namenhafte Design-Häuser ihn engagierten.

werden vom Videodesigner, Mediaartist und VJ Benjamin Jantzen mit einer Silvestermeile-Edition seines preisgekrönten le taxi pour les galaxies bespielt.

An der St. Ludwig Kirche werden in Kooperation mit der Erzdiözese München und Freising

 die Video-, Licht- und Medien-künstler von We Are Video zudem mit einer ganz besonderen Projektion die Silvestermeile bereichern. Hier können die Besucher auch virtuelle Feuerwerksraketen aus Licht aufsteigen lassen.

„Die Ludwigstraße als Festgelände wird den gesamten Abend durchgängig einzigartig illuminiert sein. Kurz vor Mitternacht können sich unsere Besucherinnen und Besucher auf eine atemberaubende
Licht-, Video- und Lasershow freuen, die München so noch nicht gesehen hat. Wir haben uns bewusst gegen ein Feuerwerk entschieden. Damit übernimmt die Stadt eine Vorreiterrolle in Sachen umweltverträgliche Großveranstaltung, die im besten Fall Signalwirkung entfalten wird. Künstlerische Licht- und Lasershow statt Feuerwerksraketen, ein Abend ohne Feinstaubemissionen und Böller-Lärm – das wird ein nachhaltiges Erlebnis ohne negative Folgen für Tiere und Umwelt.“ so Alexander Wolfrum, Geschäftsführer der Münchener Eventagentur G.R.A.L. GmbH und fügt hinzu: „Vielleicht noch wichtiger: Selbstverständlich werden wir ein umfangreiches Sicherheitskonzept mit unseren Partnern umsetzen. So können alle gemeinsam sicher feiern.“

Und auch das leibliche Wohl wird auf der Münchener Silvestermeile nicht zu kurz kommen: 

An einer Vielzahl großer und kleiner Foodtrucks und Stände finden alle Durstigen und Hungrigen ein reichhaltiges Angebot, wobei ein Schwerpunkt auf regionalen Speisen und Zutaten aus Bayern liegen wird.

Das wird vor allem eine festlich illuminierte Flanier- und Erlebnismeile mit vier verschiedenen Musikbühnen und DJ-Decks, künstlerischen Licht- und Videoprojektionen an den Gebäuden sowie einem breiten gastronomischen Angebot mit internationalen und bayerischen Spezialitäten.
