 Mostra: “ICONIC – Un viaggio senza tempo tra cultura, società e mobilità”. Un omaggio alle icone automobilistiche, artistiche, architettoniche e umane di Wolfsburg

Wolfsburg presenta una nuova interpretazione della fiera di successo ICONIC del "DRIVE. Volkswagen Group Forum" di Berlino (English, Deutsch, Nederlands)

Wolfsburg - dal 18 marzo 2025 nell'Autostadt. Icone del design, dell'architettura, dell'arte e della fotografia, della musica e della mobilità plasmano il nostro tempo. L’Autostadt di Wolfsburg presenta attualmente la mostra “ICONIC – A Timeless Journey of Culture, Society and Mobility”. Le icone della vita quotidiana creano identità e plasmano la società contemporanea. La mostra nel Group Forum mostra icone della storia dei veicoli che continuano a plasmare la nostra mobilità di oggi, nonché opere innovative di design, architettura, arte e musica. Nell'Autostadt Wolfsburg si trovano, oltre al centro di consegna delle auto nuove, il museo e un parco divertimenti della Volkswagen AG. Tutto è nelle immediate vicinanze dello stabilimento Volkswagen.

Porsche 356 - Iconica

L'ultima Porsche 356 C uscì dalla fabbrica nel maggio del 1966: le versioni delle famose generazioni 356 erano disponibili come cabriolet, speedster o roadster. Al giorno d'oggi, una 356 (pronunciata "tre cinquantasei") è l'oro del garage di cui gli appassionati di auto d'epoca sono felici ad ogni fan meeting - come noi all'ACM Classic Car Meeting nell'aprile 2024 sul Theresienwiese.

Il raduno di auto d'epoca si tiene ogni anno la prima domenica del Festival di Primavera (quest'anno il 27 aprile 2025). Il 19° raduno di auto d'epoca ACM sul Theresienwiese è organizzato dall'ACM (Automobile Club Monaco). Puoi ancora registrare te stesso e il tuo garage Gold per questo: "Se vuoi partecipare, hai bisogno di un veicolo costruito nel 1983 o più vecchio!"

Che si tratti della famosa Porsche 356, di un Maggiolino Volkswagen, della Bulli T1-T4 o della Golf I, tutti loro hanno plasmato fino ad oggi non solo il panorama automobilistico tedesco

 Oltre alle icone automobilistiche del Gruppo Volkswagen, la nuova mostra ICONIC attira l'attenzione su mondi tematici simultanei nei settori del design, dell'architettura, delle persone e dell'arte. La questione di cosa renda una persona o una fotografia un'icona preoccupa continuamente storici dell'arte e folcloristi. L'oggetto o la persona devono essere stati a casa nel loro tempo, averlo progettato consapevolmente, sviluppato il suo linguaggio formale e quindi modellato. In questo modo sarà identificato per sempre con la sua epoca e potrà anche rappresentare la sua generazione nel suo insieme.

Una fotografia di una persona famosa ai suoi tempi è equiparata a quel tempo e può plasmare generazioni che riconoscono immediatamente questa "star" o "politico" come ICONICA.
 

Per noi un esempio di Monaco (da non vedere alla mostra di Wolfsburg): - Pensiamo anche alle icone fotografiche della musica rock di Peter Hince che si possono vedere a Monaco, come il leggendario Freddie Mercury del gruppo rock QUEEN, che ha sempre vissuto felicemente a Monaco. Wolfsburg presents a new interpretation of the successful ICONIC exhibition from the "DRIVE. Volkswagen Group Forum" in Berlin (Deutsch  , Nederlands, Italiano)

Wolfsburg – from March 18, 2025 – Icons of design, architecture, art and photography, music, and even mobility shape our time. The Autostadt in Wolfsburg is currently presenting the exhibition "ICONIC – A Timeless Journey of Culture, Society and Mobility." Icons of everyday life shape identity and shape contemporary society. The exhibition in the Group Forum showcases icons of automotive history that continue to shape our mobility today, as well as groundbreaking works of design, architecture, art, and music. In addition to the delivery center for new cars, Autostadt Wolfsburg houses the Volkswagen AG museum and a theme park. All of this is located in the immediate vicinity of the Volkswagen plant.

Porsche 356 - Iconic

The last Porsche 356 C rolled out of the factory in May 1966 - versions of the famous 356 generations were available as convertibles, speedsters, or roadsters. Today, a 356 (pronounced "three fifty-six") is garage gold that classic car enthusiasts rejoice over at every fan gathering - like us at the ACM Classic Car Meeting in April 2024 on the Theresienwiese.

The classic car meeting is held every year on the first Sunday of the Spring Festival (this year April 27, 2025). The 19th ACM Classic Car Meeting on the Theresienwiese is organized by the ACM (Automobile Club Munich). You can still register for this event with your garage gold: "Those who want to participate need a vehicle built in 1983 or earlier!"

Whether it was the famous Porsche 356, a Volkswagen Beetle, the T1-T4 Bulli, or the Golf I, they all shaped not only the German automotive landscape to this day.

In addition to the automotive icons from the Volkswagen Group, the new exhibition ICONIC draws attention to contemporaneous themes in the areas of design, architecture, people, and art. The question of what makes a person or a photograph an icon continues to preoccupy art historians and folklorists. The object or person must have been at home in their time, consciously designed it, developed its formal language, and thus shaped it. Thus, they are forever identified with their era and can also stand for their generation as a whole.

A photograph of a well-known person in their time is identified with that era and can shape generations who immediately recognize this "star" or "politician" as ICONIC.

A Munich example (not included in the Wolfsburg exhibition) "photographic icons": We're also thinking here of Peter Hince's photographic icons of rock music, such as the legendary Freddie Mercury of the rock band QUEEN, who also lived happily in Munich for several years. The successful exhibition concept moves from DRIVE in Berlin (2024) to Autostadt (2025).
