Fürstenfeldbruck, just outside Munich. Finally, it's April, and only 10 days until the anime and manga convention. Under the banner of aniMUC, fans and participants will meet for a special program at the Fürstenfeld event center in Fürstenfeldbruck, near Munich. The Animexx e.V. association aims to promote Japanese pop culture with this special event. Anyone wondering what aniMUC actually is? Here's the info: aniMUC was first held in 2009 and has since become a firmly established annual event for all fans of anime, manga, cosplay, J-Pop, and Japanese culture. The nationwide German Cosplay Championship takes place every year to determine the national cosplay champions. Here, performers of manga, anime, or video game characters gather to present themselves on stage, convincingly portraying them through their costumes and accompanying behavior. This year's convention offers something for everyone, from fans to newcomers – here are some highlights of the aniMUC convention:

Artists, craftspeople, and vendors offer their wares here, and it's worth browsing when merchandise, handmade items like jewelry, belts, and other accessories, and especially original artworks are presented directly by the artists themselves.
Matsuri & Games Area
Japan invites you to play. Those interested can explore tabletop games, trading card games, or new video games.
Cosplay
Cosplayers enrich aniMUC with their sometimes very elaborate costumes, which do justice to their favorite characters. Many photos will certainly be taken, as these extraordinary cosplay events transport visitors into virtual-real worlds.
