It’s that time again: organizers B&M Marketing are launching the Salzburger-Land-Klassik Rally this week - running from September 17–19, 2026. The route takes participants along the most beautiful roads in the Alps. It passes through the "German Corner" (Deutsches Eck) area—including Berchtesgaden, Bad Reichenhall, and the Hans-Peter Porsche Traumwerk in Anger. We have listed the full route below; for vintage car enthusiasts, it makes for a wonderful outing to watch these legends of automotive history roll past in the towns along the way. It took place for the first time last year, delighting all the participants and spectators—many of whom waited patiently by the roadside just to catch a quick photo of their favorite vintage car. The route wound through the green hills and along the twisting roads of this Alpine nation, occasionally climbing high to conquer mountain passes. Drivers in their magnificent machines showcased their prized "garage gold" against the backdrop of the stunning Alpine panorama. With this event, the Salzburger-Land-Klassik—centered around Wagrain in the Pongau region—successfully established itself, bringing the experience and values of the Bodensee-Klassik and Hamburg-Berlin-Klassik rallies to this new landscape.

The 2026 Salzburger-Land-Klassik Rally—featuring special stages designed by Armin Schwarz, the International German Rally Champion and 2005 European Champion.

Around 80 vehicles are expected to participate, ranging from models dating back to the early 20th century up to those from the year 2000. All vehicles will tackle exciting special stages—devised by German rally driver and former WRC professional Armin Schwarz—and compete for rankings. In addition to the popular supporting program, there will once again be an awards ceremony.
