Die offizielle Abschlussfeier der Olympischen Winterspiele 2026 findet heute in Verona statt - ab 20:30 Uhr im ZDF

 

Sonntag, den 22. Februar 2026 - Arena di Verona

Verona. Die Abschlussfeier der Olympischen Winterspiele heute um 20:30 Uhr in der Arena di Verona statt. Die deutsche Fahne wird von den Rodlern Tobias Wendl und Tobias Arlt, die Gold und Bronze gewannen,  in die alterwürdige Arena getragen. Die Zeremonie zum Ende der Spiele beginnt um 20:30 Uhr. Sie wird im ZDF  übertragen. Während der Abschlussfeier der Olympischen Winterspiele in Verona gefeiert wird, werden in Mailand-Cortina die Eröffnungsfeierlichkeiten für die Paralympischen Spiele vorbereitet. Die Paralympischen Spiele  2026 in Milano Cortina werden vom 06. bis 15. März 2026 ausgetragen.

La fiamma sacra, la Fiamma Olimpica, è stata portata dalla Grecia in Italia "in un gesto di armonia": oggi segna l'inizio della staffetta della fiaccola, lunga 60 giorni, attraverso 110 province italiane

Staffetta della Fiamma dei Super Atleti – Olimpiadi invernali 2026. Oggi, 6 dicembre, inizia da Roma la staffetta della fiaccola olimpica: la staffetta attraverserà l'Italia per due mesi, con numerose leggende dello sport come tedofori. La fiamma sarà portata da questi super atleti attraverso 110 province italiane, percorrendo un totale di 12.000 km, e sarà sicuramente ricordata in tutte le 60 tappe delle celebrazioni. Gli sponsor Eni e Coca-Cola arricchiranno i rispettivi siti di passaggio della fiaccola con piccoli eventi per il pubblico. La fiamma olimpica ha viaggiato questa settimana da Atene all'Italia, dove si svolgeranno i XXV Giochi Olimpici Invernali dal 6 al 22 febbraio 2026. A Milano e Cortina d'Ampezzo, le Paralimpiadi ispireranno poi molti atleti entusiasti a raggiungere prestazioni di vertice dal 6 al 15 marzo.

Il viaggio della fiamma olimpica è iniziato in Grecia nel novembre 2025

Il 26 novembre, l'attrice Mary Mina, in veste di simbolica Sacerdotessa, ha acceso la fiamma olimpica in una cerimonia solenne presso il Museo Archeologico di Olimpia, luogo di nascita dei Giochi Olimpici. Il tradizionale rito di accensione è stato seguito dalla cerimonia di consegna della torcia al primo corridore, il canottiere greco dei pesi leggeri Petros Gaidatzis, vincitore della medaglia di bronzo nel 2024. A lui hanno fatto seguito altre leggende dello sport italiano, come Armin Zoeggeler (due medaglie d'oro nel 2002 e nel 2006), che ha portato la fiamma nel suo viaggio verso Milano Cortina.

La fiamma è simbolo di pace, amicizia e unità e rappresenta la speranza, la tolleranza e il rispetto tra i popoli di tutto il mondo. Fin dall'antichità, ogni Olimpiade inizia con il rituale dell'accensione a Olimpia: da lì, la fiamma viene portata dai tedofori fino alla sede dei Giochi Olimpici in tutto il mondo.

450 tedofori hanno trasportato la fiamma olimpica per oltre 2.200 km attraverso la Grecia, toccando 12 stazioni sciistiche, prima di arrivare ad Atene

I tedofori hanno portato la fiamma allo Stadio Panathinaiko, dove, il 4 dicembre 2025, il viaggio della fiamma olimpica è proseguito: è stata trasportata in aereo in Italia ed è atterrata a Roma.

La fiamma verrà poi accesa allo Stadio San Siro
il 6 febbraio a Milano con l'accensione della grande torcia, che darà ufficialmente inizio alle Olimpiadi invernali del 2026

Le varie discipline sportive si svolgeranno in diverse città di tre regioni del Nord Italia:

• Bormio: Sci alpino, sci alpinismo
• Cortina e Anterselva: Sci alpino, biathlon, bob, curling, slittino, skeleton
• Livigno: Sci freestyle, snowboard
• Milano: Hockey su ghiaccio, pattinaggio artistico, cerimonia di apertura, short track, gare di velocità e altro ancora...
• Predazzo: Combinata nordica e salto con gli sci
• Tesero: Sci di fondo, combinata nordica
• Verona: Cerimonia di chiusura

Torch Relay of Super Athletes – 2026 Winter Olympics. Today, December 6, the Olympic torch relay begins in Rome: The relay will travel across Italy for two months, with many sporting legends serving as torchbearers. The flame will be carried by these super athletes through 110 Italian provinces, covering a total of 12,000 km, and will surely be remembered at each of the 60 celebratory stages. Sponsors Eni and Coca-Cola will enhance the respective torch relay sites with small events for the public. The Olympic flame traveled this week from Athens to Italy, where the XXV Olympic Winter Games will take place from February 6th to 22nd, 2026. In Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, the Paralympics will also inspire many enthusiastic athletes to peak performances from March 6th to 15th.

The journey of the Olympic flame began in Greece in November 2025

On November 26, actress Mary Mina, acting as a symbolic High Priestess, lit the Olympic flame in a festive ceremony at the Archaeological Museum of Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games. The traditional lighting ritual was followed by the torch-handling ceremony to the first runner, Greek lightweight rower Petros Gaidatzis, who won the bronze medal in 2024. He was followed by other sporting legends from Italy, such as Armin Zoeggeler (two gold medals in 2002 and 2006), who carried the flame on its journey to Milano Cortina.

The flame is a symbol of peace, friendship, and unity, and it represents hope, tolerance, and respect among peoples worldwide. Every Olympiad since antiquity begins with the lighting ritual in Olympia - the flame is carried from there by torchbearers to the respective venue of the Olympic Games all over the world.

450 torchbearers carried the Olympic flame over 2,200 km through Greece, passing through 12 ski resorts, before arriving in Athens

The torchbearers brought the flame to the Panathenaic Stadium, where, on December 4, 2025, the Olympic flame's journey continued: it was flown to Italy and landed in Rome.

The flame will then be lit at the San Siro Stadium

on February 6th in Milan with the lighting of the large torch,

 officially opening the 2026 Winter Olympics.

The various sports will be held in several cities across three regions of Northern Italy:

• Bormio: Alpine skiing, ski mountaineering
• Cortina and Anterselva: Alpine skiing, biathlon, bobsleigh, curling, luge, skeleton
• Livigno: Freestyle skiing, snowboarding
• Milan: Ice hockey, figure skating, opening ceremony, short track, speed racing, and more...
• Predazzo: Nordic combined and ski jumping
• Tesero: Cross-country skiing, Nordic combined
• Verona: Closing ceremony

Fackellauf der Supersportler - Olympische Winterspiele 2026. Heute, am 06. Dezember beginnt in Rom der Olympische Fackellauf: Der Fackellauf wird zwei Monate quer durch Italien führen und viele  Sportlerlegenden werden als Fackelträger fungieren. Die Flamme wird von den Supersportlern durch 110 italienische Provinzen über insgesamt 12.000 km getragen und sicherlich auf allen 60 Feieretappen in guter Erinnerung bleiben. Die Sponsoren Eni und Coca-Cola werden die jeweiligen Fackelübergabestätten durch kleine Aktionen für das Publikum bereichern. Die Olympische Flamme reiste diese Woche von Athen nach Italien, wo vom 06. bis zum 22. Februar 2026 die XXV. Olympischen Winterspiele stattfinden. In Mailand und Cortina d'Ampezzo werden dann vom 06. bis zum 15. März auch die Paralymics viele begeisterte Sportler zu Höchstleistungen anstacheln.

Der Weg des Olympischen Feuers hat in Griechenland im November 2025 begonnen

Am 26. November entzündete die Schauspielerin Mary Mina als symbolische Hohepriesterin in einer feierlichen Inszenierung das Olympische Feuer im Archäologischen Museum von Olympia, der Wiege der Olympischen Spiele. Dem traditionellen Entzündungsritual folgte die Übergabezeremonie der Fackel an den ersten Läufer, den griechischen Leichtgewichts-Ruderer Petros Gaidatzis, der 2024 die Bronzemedaille holte. Es folgten weitere Sportlerlegenden aus Italien, wie Armin Zoeggeler (2 Goldmedaillen ind 2002 und 2006), die das Feuer auf ihre Reise nach Milano Cortina brachten.  

Die Flamme ist ein Symbol für Frieden, Freundschaft und Einheit und sie steht für Hoffnung, Toleranz und Respekt der Völker weltweit. Jede Olympiade beginnt seit der Antike mit dem Entzündungsritual in Olympia - die Flamme wird von dort aus durch Fackelläufer zum jeweiligen Austragungsort der Olympischen Spiele in alle Welt getragen.

22. Februar 2026: Offizielle Abschlussfeier der Olympischen Winterspiele in der Arena di Verona, dem römischen Amphitheater, das zum historischen UNESCO-Welterbe zählt
