Santa Claus comes to Munich with goodies
Santa Claus visits the Munich Christmas markets - we have put together all the dates below
Munich. December 6th, 2024: Santa Claus is always worth seeing - so head to town!!! Or to Motorworld Munich (Am Ausbesserungswerk 8, 80939 Munich Daily from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m), where children start lining up to read a poem or sing a song to Santa from 5 p.m. - at the end every child receives a small gift from Santa Claus. In Alpine countries such as Austria, Saint Nicholas is often accompanied by Krampus. At the Christmas market under the maypole at Luise-Kiesselbach-Platz, Santa Claus is coming today, December 6th from 5 p.m. and then again for the Krampus Run on December 7th at 5 p.m. - and all good things come in threes: on December 8th, run the children at this Christmas market skate under the maypole with the bishop.

Christmas market under the maypole
at LUISE-KIESSELBACH-PLATZ, until January 5th, 2025 (Mon-Fri 2:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m., Sat-Sun 11:00 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.)
- Santa Claus: December 6th from 5 p.m
- Santa Claus: December 7th from 5 p.m. Krampus Run
- Santa Claus: December 8th, children and Santa Claus skate under the maypole at the Christmas market.
In addition to the great ice skating rink, there is a Christkindl Express, a train for children that runs through the winter village every day.

- from 5 p.m.: In the Christmas village in the residence
- from 4 p.m.: Haidhausen Christmas market
- 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.: At the Advent spectacle at Wittelsbacherplatz
- 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. & from 5 p.m.: at the airport
- from 4 p.m.: Sendlinger Mountain Christmas at Harras
- from 4 p.m.: Starfleet on the Alte Utting
- 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Christmas making at the Quartierplatz in Berg am Laim
- from 5 p.m.: Neuhauser Christmas market at Rotkreuzplatz
- from 2 p.m. and 7.12. from 1 p.m. and December 8th. from 12 p.m.: three times at the Chinese Tower
