Questo fine settimana la città di Monaco festeggia il suo patrono cittadino, San Benno, dentro e intorno al Duomo

La festa della fondazione della città nel 2024 coincide con il Bennofest - mostra sull'anniversario della diocesi “1300 anni di storia della diocesi” (INGLESE/ENGLISH))

Monaco. Sabato 8 giugno dalle 10 alle 22 e domenica 9 giugno dalle 11 alle 21 la città di Monaco festeggerà il suo santo patrono con la Festa del Benno. Ai piedi del Duomo e attorno ad esso si svolge un programma teatrale, nel giardino delle feste di Benno si trovano delizie culinarie. Club e associazioni hanno messo a punto una divertente gamma di offerte. Ciò include anche l'anniversario della diocesi “1300 anni di storia della diocesi”. Una mostra sulla storia vi invita nella cripta del Duomo di Monaco. Oltre ad un'interessante visita alla chiesa attraverso l'edificio più famoso di Monaco, dovreste anche salire sulla torre. Vale sicuramente la pena salire per vedere Monaco da uno dei due monumenti della città, i campanili delle donne. Eh sì: tutti i bambini che rispondono al nome Benno potranno partecipare gratuitamente con le loro famiglie.

Il programma del Bennofest,

che, tra l'altro, si estende lungo la Kaufingerstrasse e la Neuhauser Strasse fino alla famosa fontana Richard Strauss, porta questo fine settimana del festival della fondazione della città

•     Musica dal vivo con il gruppo originale dell'Oktoberfest “Münchner Gaudiblosn” (sabato 8 giugno dalle 19:00)

•     una funzione celebrativa nella cattedrale, che sarà tenuta dal cardinale Reinhard Marx (domenica 9 giugno, ore 10:00
•     e nel “Benno Festival Garden” prelibatezze bavaresi come panini con bratwurst, Steckerlfisch o waffle con dolci attendono gli ospiti di Benno

•     e ovviamente c'è anche un bar con gustose bevande per placare la vostra sete!

L'organizzazione del festival è nelle mani dell'Arcidiocesi di Monaco e Frisinga!

The city of Munich is celebrating its city patron, Saint Benno, in and around the cathedral this weekend

The city founding festival in 2024 coincides with the Bennofest - exhibition on the diocese's anniversary “1300 years of diocese history” (GERMAN)

Munich. On Saturday, June 8th, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Sunday, June 9, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., the city of Munich will celebrate its patron saint with the Benno Festival. There is a stage program at the foot of the cathedral and around it, and there are culinary delights in the Benno festival garden. Clubs and associations have put together an entertaining range of offers. This also includes the diocese anniversary “1300 years of diocese history”. An exhibition on history invites you to the crypt of Munich Cathedral. In addition to an interesting church tour through Munich's most famous building, you should also climb the tower. Seeing Munich from one of the city's two landmarks, the women's church towers, is definitely worth the climb. Oh yes: all children who answer to the name Benno are allowed to take part with their families free of charge.

The program of the Bennofest,

which, by the way, extends along Kaufingerstrasse and Neuhauser Strasse to the famous Richard Strauss Fountain, brings this city founding festival weekend

•     Live music with the original Oktoberfest band “Münchner Gaudiblosn” (Saturday, June 8th, from 7:00 p.m.)
•     a celebratory service in the cathedral, which will be held by Cardinal Reinhard Marx (Sunday, June 9th, at 10:00 a.m
•     and in the “Benno Festival Garden” Bavarian delicacies such as bratwurst rolls, Steckerlfisch or waffles with sweets await Benno's guests
•     and of course there is also a bar with tasty drinks to relieve your thirst!

The organization of the festival is in the hands of the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising!

Die Stadt München feiert an diesem Wochenende im und am Dom ihren Stadtpatron, den Heiligen Benno

Das Stadtgründungsfest 2024 fällt mit dem Bennofest zusammen - Ausstellung zum Bistumsjubiläum „1300 Jahre Bistumsgeschichte“ (ENGLISH)

München. Am Samstag, den 8. Juni, von 10.00 – 22.00 Uhr und am Sonntag, den 9. Juni, von 11.00 – 21.00 Uhr feiert die Stadt München mit dem Bennofest ihren Stadtpatron. Zu Füßen des Domes und rundherum gibt ein Bühnenprogramm und im Benno-Festgarten für Kulinarisches. Vereine und Verbände haben ein unterhaltsames Angebote zusammengestellt. Dazu gehört auch das Bistumsjubiläum „1300 Jahre Bistumsgeschichte“. Eine Ausstellung zur Geschichte lädt in die Krypta des Münchner Doms ein. Neben einer interessanten Kirchenführungen durch das berühmteste Münchner Bauwerk sollte ein Turmaufstieg wahrgenommen werden. München von einem der zwei Wahrzeichen der Stadt, den Frauen-Kirchtürmen aus zu sehen ist den Aufstieg allemal Wert. Ach ja: alle Kinder, die auf den Namen Benno hören, dürfen mit ihren Familien kostenlos teilnehmen.

Das Programm vom Bennofest,

das sich übrigens entlang der Kaufinger- und Neuhauser Straße bis zum berühmten Richard-Strauss-Brunnen erstreckt, bringt an diesem Stadtgründungsfest-Wochenende

• Livemusik mit der original Oktoberfestband „Münchner Gaudiblosn“ (Samstag, 8. Juni, ab 19:00 Uhr)

• einen Festgottesdienst im Dom, der von Kardinal Reinhard Marx abgehalten wird (Sonntag, 9. Juni, um 10:00 Uhr

• und im „Benno-Festgarten“ warten bayerische Schmankerl wie Bratwurstsemmeln, Steckerlfisch oder auch Waffeln mit Süßem auf Bennos Gäste

• und natürlich gibt es auch einen Ausschank mit süffigen Getränken gegen den Durscht!
