Special Exhibitions at the Klassikwelt Bodensee Trade Fair
With an Experiential Focus
Special Exhibition: Brands of the Past - presented by Klassikwelt Bodensee and the Techno Classica Salon Dortmund
As part of the partnership between Klassikwelt Bodensee and the Techno Classica Salon Dortmund, the new partner presents the special exhibition "Techno Classica Salon presents: Brands of the Past."
The focus is on traditional automobile manufacturers that once shaped the streetscape but have largely disappeared today. Among the vehicles on display are a Borgward Isabella, a Triumph TR2, and an Adler 2EV Cabriolet.
Another special exhibition in Hall A2 showcases the evolution of firefighting technology – from the hand-operated pump from 1888 to the MAN tank fire engine from 1980.
Highlights include a unique Mercedes L315 S KW 15, specially built for the Ludwigshafen Fire Department, and an airport fire truck from 1991, which, at 141.7 km/h, remains the fastest of its kind.
The exhibits come from the Friedrichshafen Fire Department, the Steim Car Collection from Schramberg, and the Bavarian Firefighting Museum in Waldkraiburg.
The special exhibition "Nippon Classics" puts rare classic and vintage cars from Japan in the spotlight.
Motorcycle enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy in the "Modern Classic Bikes" section: these machines combine modern technology with classic design.
