Event Highlight: The First Week of the Summer Festival Has Begun
The first week of the Autostadt Summer Festival kicks off with street artists, roving performers, and great musical moments.
July 3–10, 2026 – The major summer festival in Wolfsburg begins with live music and more; the event also features a play area spanning approximately 1,000 square meters, complete with inflatable structures for climbing and romping around (DEUTSCH)
Wolfsburg. The first week of the summer festival is underway, focusing on street performance and movement arts: parkour and calisthenics athletes are showcasing spectacular jumps and impressive physical control on the Piazza forecourt. Guests can even join in under professional guidance. Participants include athletes known from *Ninja Warrior Germany*, such as Silke Sollfrank, Andreas Wöhle, Nathan Geiger, and Benjamin Grams. Meanwhile, street artist Eric Tarantola blends music with humor, and Phil Bondy & Zach Steiner create infectious rhythms using percussion on everyday objects. The ACOUSTEEL GANG brings powerful sounds to the park with their steel drums and pans, followed by "Men in Blech," who captivate the audience with brass sounds and infectious enthusiasm. To kick things off on July 3, balloon artist Mr. Jack delights both young and old with his imaginative creations.

Concert highlights define the first week of the festival:
Pop star Rita Ora kicks things off on July 3. On July 5, the schedule begins with a children's concert by "Simon sagt," followed by Jovanotti taking the stage in the evening. Local bands Maikel Tretschok, LOLA, and KARGO take the spotlight on July 6. KRONER follows on July 7, the Miles Electric Band on July 8, and The Meng Mengs on July 9. The Danish percussion duo Safri Duo brings the week's musical program to a close on July 10.
A mobile DJ set provides the musical backdrop for the festival, while a street food area along the "Porschearm" waterway offers a range of culinary delights.
For children aged four and up, the "Inflatable Landscape" in front of the Customer Center offers a play area spanning approximately 1,000 square meters, featuring inflatable structures for climbing and romping around.
