Celebration tip: The Munich Culture Beach 2025 takes place until mid-September at the Father Rhine Fountain on the Isar River.

Munich. The Culture Beach offers Munich residents relaxation and cultural enjoyment on a sandy beach. Yes, a beach in the heart of Munich. Until September 8, we find a small cultural paradise here. There's a fantastic program calendar with something for everyone: there are music events with live bands, many children's activities, and even room for sporting highlights. - The Munich Culture Beach takes place around the Father Rhine Fountain - directly at the Ludwigsbrücke on the Isar River. Every day from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM, you can chill out and party in a relaxed atmosphere. All activities are free. This year you will also find a cultural beach right in the city at the Wittelsbach Fountain.

The Urbanauten and M-net bring sand, music, art & more to the city from May to September.
Feet in the sand, relaxing on lounge chairs, listening to music, and sipping cool drinks: that's our vacation feeling in Munich.
And it won't be boring either, because there's a varied program with
- live music from local bands,
- DJ sets
- and open-air dance evenings.
For cultural enjoyment, there are also
- readings
- and some art events
- spoken word performances
- and art installations.
Yes, even when it's not the holidays, there's still a colorful children's and family program in a relaxed beach atmosphere.

There will also be a guided sports program in the shady "Wäldchen" next to the Vater-Rhein fountain.
