Munich is in the premier league of football this weekend. Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Inter Milan will face off in the UEFA Champions League final on the Allianz Arena pitch. Beforehand, the legendary American band LINKIN PARK will perform their KICK OFF concert (more about the concert in this blog: Deutsch, Italiano, English, Français, Español) The festivities surrounding the UEFA Champions League trophy begin. And then: kickoff at 9 p.m.! Inter Milan fan groups will celebrate in front of the giant screen on Odeonplatz at the Feldherrnhalle, and the French PSG fans will celebrate on Königsplatz in the Kunstareal, where there is also a screen. The Olympic Park will also be a celebration zone with live broadcasts.

The Munich Department of Economic Affairs has announced additional revenue of approximately €46.2 million from fans alone. Fan interest is very high this year, and almost all hotels in the city and surrounding area are fully booked, according to Daniela Ziegler (Munich Dehoga District Manager). The hotels will accommodate around 90,000 guests this weekend. And the fans have not only paid for their travel, but also several thousand euros for their final tickets. Beer gardens and pubs are partially sold out!

Paris Saint-Germain versus Inter Milan in the Champions League final in Munich
French champions Paris Saint-Germain and their Italian counterparts, Inter Milan, will play the most important final in European club football starting at 9 p.m. Both clubs have found fantastic 5-star luxury hotels in the heart of Munich: the Rosewood Hotel and The Charles Hotel, where Inter is staying. UEFA and the football legends are staying at the first hotel on site, the 5-star Hotel "Bayerischer Hof".
There are three fan zones in Munich with giant screens:
- 1. In the Olympic Park at the "Champions Festival," where 23,000 celebrating fans will be there.
- 2. At Königsplatz in Munich's art district, the "PSG FAN MEETING POINT" has become the meeting point.
- 3. Odeonsplatz at the Hofgarten is the INTER FANZONE, with around 16,000 fans in front of the screen.
