Munich. The opening hours of the festival tents and fairground rides at the large Munich Oktoberfest can be summarized briefly: Monday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. and on weekends from 9 a.m. to midnight or 11:30 p.m. The Oide Wiesn is open daily from 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., while drinks close at 10:30 p.m. The two exclusive large tents, "Käfer Wiesn-Schänke" and "Kuffler's Weinzelt," are the exception – both are open daily until 1 a.m. Oktoberfest Family Days 2025 will take place on two Tuesdays: September 23 and 30. On these days, all rides, attractions, and many restaurants offer discounts for families and children until 7 p.m.

• Monday to Thursday: 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
• Fridays and Thursday, October 2nd: 10 a.m. to midnight
• Saturday: 9 a.m. to midnight
• Sunday: 9 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Old Wiesn:

• Sunday to Thursday: 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
• Fridays and Saturdays: 10 a.m. to midnight

Beer Tent Opening Hours

• Monday to Friday, the tents open at 10 a.m. and close at 11:30 p.m.
• On Saturdays, Sundays, and the public holiday, October 3rd, beer is served at 9 a.m., and the final taps are at 11:30 p.m.
• In the main festival halls, the last beer and the last music are at 10:30 p.m.
• In the smaller tents, such as chicken roasters, snack bars, and café tents, drinks and music stop at 11 p.m.

Exceptions:

The Käfer Wiesn-Schänke and Kufflers Weinzelt are open until 1 a.m., with the last drinks served at 12:30 a.m.

Taking a ride after the tents have closed is usually not a problem.

The rides and fairground rides, such as the Ferris wheel, toboggan, sledgehammer, and Devil's Wheel:

• Monday to Thursday (except public holidays) from 10 a.m. until 11:30 p.m.
• Friday and Thursday, October 2nd, the opening hours are from 10 a.m. to midnight.
• Saturdays from 9 a.m. to midnight
• Sundays and public holidays from 9 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Munich. The Oktoberfest countdown in Munich has begun: There are exactly 67 days until the start, and preparations for the world's most famous folk festival are progressing rapidly. Munich's Theresienwiese in 2025: There will be some traffic changes around the Wiesn - also due to the construction of the new railway bridge on Poccistrasse. Because: in exactly 67 days, if we do the math, Mayor Dieter Reiter will tap the first keg of beer. He will present the first liter of Munich Oktoberfest beer to the state's father, Minister-President Markus Söder - according to tradition. Then, from September 20 to October 5, 2024, the celebrations will take place on Munich's Theresienwiese. Every year, at the world's largest folk festival, beers from six Munich breweries and numerous other Bavarian specialties are offered in the nearly 40 festival tents. This year, the Oide Wiesn with its historic rides will be back.

Where we still see a meadow in the following photo, the Oide Wiesn will be set up. ... and then, after the large tents, there will be the many rides and food stalls!

La 190e Oktoberfest de Munich se déroulera sur la Theresienwiese de Munich pendant 16 jours, du 20 septembre au 5 octobre 2025

Chaque année, lors de la plus grande fête populaire au monde, les bières de six brasseries munichoises et de nombreuses autres spécialités bavaroises sont proposées sous près de 40 chapiteaux. Cette année, l'Oide Wiesn et ses manèges historiques seront de retour.

Là où l'on voit encore une prairie sur la photo suivante, l'Oide Wiesn sera installée. … et après les grands chapiteaux, place aux nombreux manèges et stands de restauration !
