BOOK TIP
for motorsport fans

Werner Eisele, Formula 1, and Le Mans
have been one for over 60 years. The Stuttgart-based photographer, with a passion for racing, experienced legendary sports car races like the 24 Hours of Le Mans through the viewfinder and was always close to the action when major victories were achieved. These were races that turned racing drivers into superstars overnight. The exhibition showcases historic racetracks and great champions, giving visitors a glimpse into the golden age of motorsport. Eisele personally experienced personal friendships, happy and, unfortunately, sad moments in racing—think of Jochen Rindt—with the drivers, mechanics, designers, and race directors.
